Peaks in the Rockies the distance between them versus in the Appalachian mountain chain seem to be so much further apart and maybe that’s just an illusion, but when I lived out in Colorado around Boulder would go up in the mountains on weekends that often came to my mind and getting used to mountains above is much more prevalent in the Rockies than in the Appalachian mountain range.keep going and keep posting.❤😊

My best friend is on this trail right now. He reported that he was at GraysPeak. West of Boulder,Co. His trail name is THIRSTY. Hope you cross paths with him. He's a real good guy and he's hiking alone.

Heart rate in high elevation compared to normal elevation? Way to go North Star wonderful weather trekking. Awesome! Yes they are mule deer you can see the difference by there rear end and ears. Thanks for sharing your journey. 👀
