Hey Rev. North Star... I had no idea at all that we share a common similarity. A quick flashback---Memories are still fresh about appearing before my ordination council for approval. One of the seven pastors who questioned me was Pastor God. That's right. His last name was God. So, I can truthfully say I was licensed and ordained by "God." Interesting, isn't it, how the trail continues to lead you even beyond the last blaze. Congratulations to the newlyweds.

When you walked 2,200 miles north on the Appalachian Trial from Georgia to Maine, you didn't reach Canada since Mt. Katahdin is about 100 miles south of the border. Now -- North Star goes north to Niagra Falls and crosses into Canada! But, wait, there's more -- Audrey is an ordained minister and officiates the marriage of Stairmaster and Sarah, in the presence of their family and friends, including members of their AT trail family. What a great post-thru-hike event! You never know how thru-hiking the AT is going to affect your life. Congratulations to the newlyweds, Cody (AKA Stairmaster) and Sarah! 🎉🎂

Welcome to my neck of the woods. The Finger Lakes are a wonderful area. We have the Finger Lakes trail, and the lovely ADKs to the north (My personal favorite) and the Northville - Placid trail. We even have skiing - just 20 mins from Canandaigua is Bristol Mountain which is pretty good place for how close it is.

You are always full of surprises finding out you are Ordained. Canandaigua is a beautiful area. We live about 90 minutes from there and it is our favorite place to go for a quick weekend getaway. Loved your video, brough back memories of places we have visited

So awesome that you not only got to attend Stair's wedding, catchup with trail buddies, get a great view of Niagara Falls, but you were the officiant too! Made some great memories. I never connect in Chicago any more. I've never had a connection there that wasn't delayed. At least it was "only" two hours for you guys. 😊 🥾

Audrey…. Hey you granted my request. I might call the green things hitch hikers and they are not easy to get off clothing. The new pack seemed to be at a bargain price did it meet your expectations? I saw your foam pad but did you still use a blowup air mattress too. Loved the idea of a Friday overnighted to hike 13 miles & you still have Sunday to chill. I got so excited to see your newest video show up. I waited to enjoy just before bedtime for I know it would relax me and end my day with good thoughts. Thank you. Glad to see you took advantage of the great cool weather we had last week. Did you have any yearning for the AT at your campfire with the night sounds? Hope your new pack worked well. Late summer hiking with "beggar lice" clinging to your clothes. Been there done that, couldn't find a tee shirt 😂. Love seeing you two back on the OT. I was hoping when you finished the CT, and the weather got cooler, you guys would start doing weekend hikes again. Thanks for granting my wish. Currently working in Alabama, hoping temps get cool soon so I can day hike some of the many trails available here and in GA. GA's little Grand Canyon has been on my list for a long time.
