Nice! Kind of like a shock-knife. Good to see a system that teaches working through a [partially] manipulation-disabling wound. There seems to be a fairly high incidence of wounds to hands in gunfights. Guessing what the eye sees as a threat it focuses on and so natural hand-eye coordination kicks in, not to mention the weapon is presented in the forefront of the body. I am reminded of the FBI Miami-dade shootout of 1986 in which a bunch of Agents received wounds to the hand [one's weapon was struck and disabled] and the Agent that finished the fight had to teach himself how to manipulate a pump shotgun one-handed...but he finished the fight [last round fired usually wins]. We had an incident locally in which a CHP Officer was in a physical struggle and wounded his own hand, but fought through it and won the fight. My agency practiced one handed techniques periodically, but never enough to build real muscle memory/confidence. I wore a tactical lanyard on my P226, as I figured if I did get a disabling wound, at least I could retreat to cover and the weapon would follow with me. Co-workers laughed at it, but it made sense to me. Keep training, stay safe, & God Bless.
