I'm flabbergasted by this extraordinary performance; the best I've ever heard...I think even Heifetz would have been really impressed by this super-human performance. Perfect sound, technique, richness, passion, flashiness, and that is just the beginning of my otherwise lengthy list of Augustin's indescribable virtuosic performance. I'm speechless! WOWWW! :-)

Augustin - thank you and thank you for the gifts you are giving us through these videos. I've been listening and growing accustomed to your sound and your artistry, so much so that I am being spoiled. Your sound has a deep richness but also brilliance - a wonderful combination - along with your artistry. (And may I say that I appreciate the humanity that you communicate when you give talks in other videos.) May you be blessed as you continue to give!

You have such amazing tone. Is this something you've always focused a lot of attention on, or did it happen naturally through just playing? Out of curiosity, which violinists inspired you growing up, and to whom do you like to listen to nowadays?
@kehwa4 жыл бұрын
Remember the three variables: pressure, speed and contact point. I'm not saying it's easy, but if you remember them as you advance, you're tone will not be such a big deal.
