This is the "BEST" performance! that I've ever heard of Kreisler's Praeludium and Allegro(another one of my favorite pieces.) This "SUPERNOVA" of a performance is created by listening to my favorite super-star violinist Hadelich playing my favorite piece by the super-star composer! It was so exciting to listen to; I was getting goosebumps....tempo contrast and sound are PERFECT!

Outstanding! Henryk Szeryng also used to play this magnificently, so this falls into a very fine tradition indeed. Your love affair with second position and reach-backs, the assuredness and strength of your fourth-finger placement and vibrations (contrary to the claim made on Ray's stream!), and your flawless bow control are used to thrilling and seamless effect here. A fantastic rendition of a wonderful piece that too often sounds like a student exercise. Every time I drop into your channel, another positive surprise awaits. What an instrumentalist, what an artist. Thanks for sharing so much with us, Augustin.

I have never heard a recording of Kreisler playing this. It would have been nice to hear an interpretation by the composer himself. In any case, this interpretation is my favorite in terms of tempo, phrasing, accents, and clarity. Too many violinists think they have to play this as fast as possible, especially at the mini-cadenza near the end of the piece. There is a melody in there and Hadelich knows how to bring it out.

Dear beloved child of God in whom I am well pleased, As a lifelong violinist and minister of the Gospel of Grace , I am emotionally stirred by your more excellent than superb performance of the Kreisler Preludium and Allegro. I read many comments and am able to see that the same effect your special concentration time on recording and interacting with us all is having with me, also, is occurring with the others leaving comments. All the greatest music specific comments about your technique, interpretation, famous passage executions and suchlike, have pretty much been mentioned by all the wonderful musicians. But what I want to share is not a for sure or factually known at this point in time belief I have concerning you as a marvelous person set aside from the many marvelous musical accomplishments in your life. I speak now in faith of what my soul hears from God about you and only you. While it is true that I can not separate you from your inseparably joined union with music that has infiltrated your every cell, spiritually the greater being of the two, being you the beloved child of God has in my overall mind of deep thought, become almost set apart from what I see and hear. Emerging is a special creation God has made so that the world may see his image though an occurrence we experience as a result of the culmination of your work, and the impression it has left. I believe in faith, and respect to the unknown specific faiths exercised by you and all listeners that there is a supernatural presence God has made to be seen equally to us all. That presence for me is called “love”. If I may call you friend, brother, I want you to know that I can see unknown extreme times of pain and traumatic situations that you have endured and are now rising above with strengthened dignity and identity you have always deserved but never truly believed. Today I against in faith, see a man with brave character and an equally kind and sensitive heart and soul which shares the Gospel of love- without using words. This is what I see stirred in every life you touch. You have become the kind of man everyone desires to know more intimately. Your doing so has taken residence inside you as an act of attraction and not of persuasion. Thank you for making the choice to remain here in a difficult world and to make music which through the spiritual life you give off, creates a little more love for us all to press on. Much affectionate love, John Olsen Palm Beach, FL USA
