This has been my most ambitious project I wanna thank everyone who contributed to the making of this video. I'm someone who always struggles with making video's and expressing what I have to say. This video is an amalgamation of so many attributes of media that I love and enjoy! So I wanted to really show YOU that anything is possible you can tie strings together no matter how far and wide. I hope to inspire those of you who are considering making video's or really just trying to find a way to make something you wanna make! So let me know what do you wanna make? That was the most beautiful synthesis essay I’ve ever heard???? Seriously, I wasn’t expecting such an awesome analysis. I didn’t realize how much actual outside inspiration from media could help your own creativity which probably sounds silly but for a long time (along with not consuming that much popular media) I literally avoided being inspired just because I didn’t want to copy things, for example I don’t think I’ve drawn a single piece of fanart from anything I’ve enjoyed watching JUST because I didn’t want to post it online and be known or get stuck as the [insert name here] fan artist. But… if I did that would’ve helped me grow so much?? I would’ve constantly had a reason to draw without struggling too much to come up with my own ideas/designs, and that’s a perfect way to practice and make progress. And I literally wouldn’t have gotten “stuck” at all because I can change what I draw whenever I want to. 😭 The things and people I’ve purposefully (and probably subconsciously) taken inspiration from have really defined a lot of what I want to possibly do though. I also realized recently I’ve always been so supportive or hype of what everyone is doing/creating but my own things, idk why? Don’t feel like thinking about rn. I’ve kinda tied my own doubt to how much I care about whatever I’m working on, thinking about it like that kiiinda makes it a little better?? Idk if that makes much sense. But as long as whatever you wanna make exists and is shared, someone’s gonna find it and like it too! ^^

This resonated with me so much, as I was going through a similar experience a year ago while trying to publish my first novel, The Collective: Forsaken Faith. The whole premise of the story is that your identity is your superpower, and I realized that the message really did hold true for me as I continued down my creative journey. Awesome video by the way!

Great video! Very inspiring! Subscribed! I'm a comic artist/writer and showing my art and stories has been hard, I'm shy and insecure so I just want to hide, I'm also a people pleaser, so this makes it even harder, it makes me feel like my stories have to please everyone but myself, but no, I want to do my own stuff, maybe I just have to do what I want without worrying about what others think, if they like it good, if they don't too bad.

One Piece is something I've come to love because it speaks to me in a sense that no matter how impossible or ambitious I get I should never let go of my dreams. Even if those dreams make me crazy. If I'm being honest, I do get afraid. I feel like I never learn anything and I'm not good enough even though I know in my heart that's not true. I keep having visions, but they're often too big to make or I can't find it in me to take the time and patience to learn out of perfectionism. This video does speak to me because you're right. I often relapse with every step I take but, why shouldn't I? I'm tired of feeling empty and unfulfilled. I'm tired of the burnout. I just need to find my One Piece.

As someone who's been struggling with creativity lately, this video may be the sole reason that finally pushed me to reflect upon myself and ask myself - who am I, really? I feel like I lost my individuality somewhere, and I can't really reach it. Until now I really only thought that I am what people think of me, but realized maybe the verions of me in their heads don't have to define me as a person. Maybe I should try to mess around, find out, figure shit out? I guess it doesn't hurt to try. I just have to puzzle it all out. It's really hard to put my thoughts into words, depression and depersonalization hit me like a truck, and sometimes I don't even think I can get thru it, but this vid gave me some hope, some inspiration to gather the strenght in me and maybe create something nice, thank you man. I just want to create again and express myself.

This video was SICK. I really enjoyed watching it, especially because it captured my own feelings as a young artist. I often struggle with wanting to create something absurd or strange with an underlying fear of rejection from anyone who sees it. I'm just now learning to get over that fear because as a creative person restriction only hinders my enjoyment and improvement in the world of art. The amount of references to various media in this video, most of which I could identify, was insane. I truly feel inspired after watching this video and as the school year approaches I am met with the challenge of keeping myself motivated artistically. I recall feeling lost last school year because I couldn't focus on art *and* education at the same time, and ended up being so burnt out that my creativity simmered into a pile of ash. Luckily this summer gave me some time to recuperate, and although I'm not proud of how I spent it (sleeping into the afternoon), I've definitely introduced myself to more art than I could ever imagine. I finally left my comfort zone by exploring things I never thought I'd enjoy, listening to bands I thought I'd hate. I've also developed a recent passion for music, along with art forms spanning past what I normally focus on: visual art. I'm learning guitar and entering theater this year, both of which have interested me, but I've been too scared to explore until now. Multimedia has genuinely become my passion, and I believe it'll stick with me for the long run.

As a person who wants to be a comic artist and animator, this hits hard for me, man. Like most creatives, I struggle with motivation and passion in my work because it all feels so fleeting, but I also really struggle with what makes me individual. Sometimes I just can't see that my art is actually good and constantly second guess myself. What do people see when they look at my work, something I try to put a lot of myself into? Will they cringe? Will they not understand? I'm in art school right now, and it's a bit of everything. But while I'm always nervous to show my work to people, their feedback and positivity puts my own work into perspective. Other artists and people can recognize your skill, even if you can't. It was so baffling to me at first, I always viewed my art as lesser than everyone else because I compare myself to others a lot. But the thing with that is, there are other creatives that look at your work and think it's an inspiration and something to reference in their work. Isn't that neat? We all have our own specialties in our work that we just need to cultivate.
@animeaugie6 ай бұрын
It all just comes down to perspective bro you could live your life everyday thinking "nothing matters" and get two completely reactions from different people one being super happy and content the other hating themselves. Art is the same way no matter what art can never be 100% replicated because it's the process of what you do and nobody can be you. There's art that sells millions of dollars that some people would be like "WTF" at the end of the day it's a battle amongst yourself and you can either choose to tame that battle or let it consume you. The choice is yours. Good luck with school man you will do great!

Took time and dedication cause a little inside note what I said at the very end was actually supposed to be what I said at the start but then I flipped it 🫡

my problem is that i have so many different insecurities and a debilitating lack of motivation to act on my creative impulses. i'd love to one day write an ongoing comic or story or whatever, or make a movie, or album, etc. but i just know it'll be bad at the start which is why i don't EVEN start. inspiration is important as you point out but i feel like i'd just be stealing or doing someone else's idea but worse. i don't even have any skills in actually making art but that very idea is what discourages me from getting to a point where i do. i have so much stuff i want to make but the crippling fear that it'll all just be 'cringe' or a blatant copy stops me from trying. i wish i knew how to fix it because "just do it" only works when you truly have no fear like tyler or were simply born with more skill points to allocate to every craft imaginable like gambino. video is fucking fantastic though, editing, music, message etc is on point
