Looking back at alien force and the original series, it was surreal as a 5 year old to see Ben as a teenager who had so few remaining personality traits of his 10 year old self that it was almost like I was watching a different character. Getting a little older and realizing that's what maturing is makes Ben's journey to hero that much more enjoyable to me.

When I was first introduced into MHA I loved it. When it comes to me being a comic/superhero nerd I’d fond it being the first anime/manga I was hooked on. When Izuku showed up I instantly thought of him similar to Peter Parker which I know is some of the influence on him. My point is dude has become my favorite character/superhero from this series and his growth is amazing.

I kind of noticed that Deku and Peter r somewhat opposites in their journey to heroism, while Deku was very open abt his wants to become a hero and save other despite the fact he couldn't, Peter took the mantle of a hero after getting powers that allow him to save ppl, it's like they're 2 sides of the spectrum

I know it’s popular to hate My Hero nowadays, but it’ll always be a favorite series of mine. When it comes to Deku, given the last few chapters I’ve actually cried at how far he’s come, especially how one o that chapters tied all the way back to chapter 1, and it’s a big reason why I love Deku so much as a character. Man is the physical embodiment of everything a hero should be, in ideals, in character, everything. I think Horikoshi cooked with him. Also love how Miles’ story has been written in the Spider-Verse movies. The What’s Up Danger is still one of the best ever scenes in any movie as far as I’m concerned, it being a defining moment for his journey as the new, separate, and unique Spider-Man. And Ben 10 and X-Men ‘97 in here? Augie is cooking 🔥

Mha hate is super forced and only happens because it's the mainstream opinion like hating pineapple on pizza
@Jarmatch7 ай бұрын
I think it’s forced too, since it has a lot going for it that makes it worthwhile even if there are some…discrepancies. Midoriya works as a static character, since the point of a hero is to be an unyielding force of altruism and justice. At least I think he’s static.. My favorite character in the entire series is Tomura Shigaraki though. AESTHETICS ASIDE, he’s the perfect polar opposite, being a villain born from a faulty society built around heroes, who grows along with who is supposed to be the ultimate symbol of heroism. With that said, My Hero has certain problems that keep it from being great. I already wrote too many paragraphs, so I’ll just list them (SOME SPOILERS BTW): -All for One took over the story and Shigaraki’s role (twice now) -Midoriya pretty much speedran OFA (Hori is tired so he sort of gets a pass) -The timeframe of the series is a bit off putting (everything takes place within 1 year) -With one exception, no character died or had been crippled where it would’ve been more impactful, or HAD died but came back to life (Best Jeanist, Maybe All Might, Stars and Stripe’s Jet Friends, Hawks, Maybe Deku but I think he’s fine not being crippled) Sorry if you read all of that. Of course this is my opinion, and some of these are a bit more personal (I love Shiggy), but I just wanted to…point them out I guess.

I remember when Ben helped for Kevin to prepare for a prom dance, I think. He called Kevin good looking. He just said to his face that he looks good. And he totally said that line with the tone of a genuinely caring friend. A line what could've been totally misunderstood as a gay line if it was out of context or said differently. But he said it with such genuine caring in his voice, that I just knew how he meant it. That stayed as one of the most definitive and important marker of their improved friendship in my memories, and one of the most obvious proofs that Ben have matured, significantly. When they were enemies in the first season, I could've never imagined that Ben would ever say this to his mortal enemy. I have been watching Cartoon Network for more than 15 years, yet this might be the most deep, convincing and genuine character development lines and moments what I have ever seen from that whole channel, from every single cartoon what I saw there. At least for me. I saw a lot of great other moments too, but something about how so simple and so human that conversation was between them what really struck me as one of the most important and real character development examples what I've ever seen in my life.

I'm so glad to see some My Hero representation when it comes to talk about heorism, sure the story may have it's flaws, but I've always thought it depicts different sides of what being a hero is on perfect ways with all of it's different characters From the coming of age heroes with Deku and most of class-A, to symbols like All Might or Star n Stripes, the more grayish morality heroes like Hawks and Gentle, the ones trying to achieve redemption like Endeavor, and even living up to the expectations of a legacy such as Shoto, Iida and Deku once again And just like these, there are a lot of other examples and I think most of them are done near perfectly for what the author tries to convey with his characters

Amazing video! It really explains what's amazing about comic book heroes. It's not their superpowers, it's actually their mentality. The fact that they're willing to push themselves, to never give up, and to become a better version of themselves. Those what make a true hero. And so, everyone can be a hero, even without superpowers. You can be as strong as Hercules, but still lose if you have a mentality of a pebble. And I think anyone who admires characters because they always win, or they're the strongest, are people who only see them at a surface level. To me, what makes heroes cool is that they can also lose. They can't save everyone. It's the aftermath that really shows it's not an easy task. But when everything seems like falling apart, these heroes teach us to never lose on hope.

This was a good video, loved it, but I have to be honest. I'm really not into superhero like I used to be, especially the traditional boy scout type of hero. I grew out of those types of superheros, but they'll always have a special place in my heart because I grew up with them. I'll say this, I have autism. And what comes with autism is looking at the world in a different way. I did't have a good functioning childhood, but because of my autism I was able to toon out the negative by escaping into superheros. As I got older, I became very nialistic. I saw the world, and the people in it, for how it truly is. Because of my new way of thinking, I now have an special interest in horror. I also love darker and gritter heros, who are often seen as "edgy or cringy", but I don't care. I have an Interest in those types of genres that superheros, especially now. Although I love every hero on this list, mainly because I grew up with these characters, I just can't lie and say I love them like I used to. Especially with my new outlook on life. Hopefully this comment doesn't hurt or disrespect anyone who reads this, I just wanted to comment how I truly feel about hero's and why I don't care about them as I once did growing up.

What is the similarities to max steel, ben 10, gen rex, sonic, and spider man except being a hero and fighting an alien? Depression? Humor? Relatetable? Losing someone? Not knowing their backstory? Or even not winning every battle? This question is what I been asking for myself for days and when I'm thinking about this I realized that nothing... There is nothing I can compare to all of them for the reason of them as a hero is not the same. Time after time they are being tested by their foes and still win trying to keep a smile even though they had traumatic experience and depressing days of their lives the only thing they do is to help and accept all the hates and anger of the enemies of them... Many punches are they been taking from the past many bones got damaged but they still continues to help, save, and protect the one's who's in need... But why is the question even they suffer to all of that why are they still continues do help? WHAT IS THE MOTIVATION? maybe we will never know the answer to that questions.
