If you hear voices in your head, you need psychiatric help. It's not god, its a mental health issue please seek help immediately. If that's what you think Jake is doing, listening to some voice in his head then you are as insane as you are presenting him. Best case scenario he's positively using a form of insanity to create music.

Brent and Matt are the main lyric writers of the band. Plus, rhythm guitar in ABR is NOT easy, especially in Messengers; although rhythm in BTBAM and Cattle Decapitation are already in another level together.

Heard one of their songs in a spencers today, asked who was playing, told me these guys name. Haven't found the song yet. Liked it because the singer, at least in the store, reminded me of Howard Jones from Devil You Know(previously Killswitch Engage and Blood Has Been Shed). The band reminded me a bit of blood has been shed as well. Listening to them with good headphones, their newer stuff sounds nothing what I heard and the singer sounds nothing like Jones... Still a cool band to discover.
@maximusaralieous17288 жыл бұрын
Found it, Meddler was the song. Is this even the same band lol. Preferred Meddler, but newer stuff ain't bad.
@LordKiser8 жыл бұрын
I've been listening to them since Constellations. If you listen throught all their discography you'll hear a clear progression to a more melodic kind of metalcore, without losing technique nor the aggressive style that Killswitch and many bands that used to make Metalcore-like music lost over time. Still, my favorite disc is Constellations, because of Meddler and Mariana's Trench
@maximusaralieous17288 жыл бұрын
LordKiser the screamers technique has changed a lot it seems. Not necessarily bad, but I liked the Howard Jones sounding scream. Thankfully Howard is still around and making new with Devil You Know.
