I always enjoy your garden tours, it's like I am in a friends garden and we're walking around looking at all the beautiful flowers. Everyone that comes to my house always wants a garden tour. I only have acre but it is packed with flower beds!!!! The entire perimeter of our yard is flower beds and around our house too. Then flower beds within the yard too, so then it makes garden paths all over our yard. I have been gardening in my space for 18 years now. How did you get into doing a flower farm? In your area, do you get alot of people stopping by to buy your arrangements? One of my dreams is to some way sell flowers....not arrangements because I am not good at making them, but more like selling pots of flowers. I have a big collection of different types of daylilies and hostas. Now I am really into starting tons of annuals by seed. I started lots of perennials by winter sowing.

Looks beautiful! I like the Hydrangea idea for the front but maybe also apricot color Roses mixed in that way you always have some blooms & color, and small boxwoods on the other side of the walk for structure. Depending on the amount of light you get in that spot I vote for any blue color hydrangeas bc I can’t get them to bloom in my zone and I suffer from blue Hydrangea envy. 😊🌿🌸

Enjoyed it. Wish we had more late summer colors in our garden like yours does. We had some storm damage also so our garden looks more “tired” than usual, unlike yours which still looks fantastic.

Thank you for another wonderful garden tour. I love the coleus, they make such great fillers for bouquets. Your colors are so beautiful, I need to try to grow those next year. Love the idea of recreating your grandmas entrance garden 😁 love the coleus 😊 Is the pink flamingo celosia a perrenial ? I would fill the front with a bunch of shade loving coleus... although with them being annuals it may become an expensive project to redo every spring. Maybe hydrangea with coleus in between them 😉

White Wedding hydrangeas from Southern Living would look amazing in front of your house. But I don't know about only two hours of sunlight. What do you have as lawn? It doesn't look like grass. I have seen a lot of people take out their grass and replace it with ground covers that grow low to the ground and they say it's maintenance free.

Northlawn Flower Farm - Thank you so much! It would be amazing if you did a video on that. How you planted it. How you maintain it. Fertilize it, etc. I would really appreciate it as I'm looking to replace part of my lawn with either a wild flower meadow or some kind of groundcover. Do they sell it as sod? Sorry for all the questions!

Hi love your garden and tour. Did I see a Norfolk pine? I have mine indoors but would love if I could plant it outside. I’m in zone 8b I believe. What zone are you? Thnx
@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! I'm in 6b. I believe you're referencing the Cryptomeria japonica 'Sekkan-sugi' (Japanese Cedar). Here in 6b I have to keep my Norfolk Pine inside. I checked some of my books and it looks like the Norfolk can only go outside in zone 10 and 11. I hope that is helpful!
