August on OP AP SENNA/ Where JHINS Name Comes From/ Y Cant ALL Champs Have Carry Potential?

The senna changes are wonderful and really open up her more utility hybrid builds, especially with her recent fix on black cleaver. High elo players always tend to balance the game selfishly typically with the notion of "Low elos dont even know how to play the game so it wont matter" but it does. Everything they do trickles down and you see this commonly in games like overwatch terms, phrases and even the idea of a main/off dps/support were from high elo and the idea that picks which are totally fine are suddenly troll or ineffective. and lets not even start on the countless players who reach challenger on apparent "troll picks" What high elos are really good at are discovering issues with the game and finding exploits.

The thing is, they opened up enchanter senna (which was already theorized by some senna mains before the ap buffs were leaked) in exchange of her damage. The attack speed growth nerf and crit change reduced all builds that focus on damage by 20%. Enchanter senna also has no use for souls aside from some scaling on R shielding. Q being such a good heal now makes it so that using q to poke or trade feels so bad and deals no damage (q damage was already nerfed before). Put this together with the incoming nerfs to items because of adc senna, you now have an incredibly weak markswoman. I'm also pretty sure that enchanter senna is probably gonna get nerfed so now she's just gutted to oblivion.

Correct on supports. It's why i play enchanters. I'm not on Soraka or Lulu to burst down an enemy, i'm playing them to make somebody else feel like a god.

I don’t think that point on game design is something players of any game will ever understand. Game design is a completely separate skill from playing a game well. You will not just magically learn it through osmosis. Thinking you can design a game without learning how and fully experiencing the work yourself is just ego.

By my definition, Soraka is actually a carry. She is basically the healing equivalent of an ADC, with top-tier sustained output, low survivability, and is always a high priority target in a fight. That's probably why I see so many enchanter mains stay away from her, precisely because that's not the fantasy they want. They'd rather play someone like Lulu or Nami.

She's extremely one dimensional compared to other enchanters. Soraka has: heal+slow, heal,silence+root, heal Lulu has: slow, attack&Ms buff+polymorph, shield, knockup+health boost+slow. Lulu has more going on allowing her to fit into more team comps. Another thing about Soraka is she has no disengage tools, I'm not trying to undervalue the silence it's decent but it's not something an assassin player is actively watching for; look at Nami, Lulu, Janna, Seraphine, Sona, Milio, Taric they all have "no, not today" tools that every assassin and diver player dreads. If given only one choice between a specialised knife and a Swiss army knife, most people will pick the Swiss army knife.

She is too squishy so any adc would kill her in a matter of seconds and by buffing her ap so much it's just a no brainer that she is basically only available as an enchanter

lethality senna makes the most sense imo because it incentivizes a utility build with umbral glaive and edge of night. A hard carry adc build should only work if you are going fasting senna with a non traditional adc imo, and if senna is trying to support, her default build being lethality makes the most sense to me.

But lethality senna provides the least to everyone. She auto q's and walks away quick after yoinking a chunk of health from someone. Her r won't do much, her e won't scale with it and her q won't heal much. It's just the worst iteration of her champ.

@@themegaladon18 she clears wards and has utility items that make her less of a liability as a support with another adc. Her e wont scale with it what? chunking someone and slowing them is fine, and her r will do more damage with lethality. Why wouldn't it? The advantage to this is she wont be trying to auto and be an adc, she will be more safe and have more utility denying vision and tanking stuff with edge of night. It's the best iteration of her champ.

@@themegaladon18you make zero sense, her q slows, her w roots, and her e gives camouflage the same way regardless of lethality or adc build. The lethality build just has more utility by clearing wards and being more self sufficient. Idk what you are even trying to say you make zero sense. She provides even less going a full carry build when not played with something like tahm kench. lethality senna with umbral glaive rush definitely has more utility than an adc build senna.
