Oh, thank god!!!! I was so worried that I was the only one who didn't like A Ship of Bones and Teeth. I thought the action was great, but the romance sucked. 🤷‍♀️

Yes that’s exactly it! The plot and action were fun but the romance didn’t work. I’m so sad to it’s such a fun premise! 😞

I commented before I listened to your whole review. I completely agree that the H was generic and nothing special. And you're right. It was a lot of action, but it didn't go anywhere. I hadn't picked up on that. And, YES! I was not sad at all when there was that character we were supposed to be sad over. Missed opportunity. I am curious about the sequel about the h's sister.

Praying for rain is one of my faves 😂 but you have to read the entire trilogy in one go to get the full experience..idk why she split it up bc it could’ve just been one book. I also love Claire Kent’s post apocalyptic series 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

Claire Kent is just supreme!!!! Every series I’m like this is the best thing she’s written. So what I’m hearing is I gotta keep reading the Praying for Rain series. Cause I am curious about what the whole shared dream thing was about… I need to know… 🙃

I was feeling slumpy at the beginning of the month, but then I gave up trying to find a good, fluffy romance (my usual go-to) and went back to mafia/mc and sci-fi/paranormal romance and what do you know, that ended. :/ I thought Guardian and Hold were pretty good so I'm going to read Hunter, too, so thanks for that rec. Not sure I'll read Release. I'm going to read The Mistress Experience, too. I'm been a bit gunshy to go back historical romance after Shipwreck Sadie. I just got back from the 9 days at the beach so I read so much romance. Nothing really stood out, unfortunately. I'm now looking for something low-key to read while I process my thoughts on Ready Player Two. Enough about me. Great vid! I like book wrap ups the most.

I feel this! I was ping ponging all over the place with the type of romance. It sucks when it feels like nothing is that good 😞 especially in a vacation like that!! Usually that’s some of my best reading.

I also read a Sam Mariano this month. I read Untouchable and I still think about it really often even though it wasn't a five stars. Very slow but so deep and the characters’ analysis and psychology were soooo good

You can just tell she has a background in psychology and her story telling is phenomenal! I just binge her books! I’ll have to add Untouchable to my list 🥰

If you like mafia and dark I would give it a go! I feel like this series is wildly underrated!!
