That's a great moment for music. Take something "easy to play", not like a Paganini piece... add the musician and his instrument. Yes!, every thing you say and more. i can never find the right words to describe the the perfection and beauty of a performance such as that. And he does it all the time. Another so called 'easy to play ' piece that he makes his own is nocturne in c sharp minor (Chopin). Like you i am so happy he shares his music with the world. We are privileged indeed.

Alles fast perfekt, der Bogen, das Vibrato, die Exaktheit des Klaviers (Triolen) und doch musikalisch singend, auch die Töne sind himmlisch. Und es ist aussagekräftig mit den Nuancen. Ich habe noch nie, so ein schönes Ave Maria spielen gehört. Ich spiele es dann eines Tages wieder, wenn meine gestohlene Geige wieder zum Vorschein kommt sowie mein Burger Jakobi Klavier. Bis zum letzten Ton genial. Ich habe so viele Songs, Musik gehört, aber die Musik von Bach/Gounod übertrifft keine.

The piano part is not an accompaniment. It’s a Prelude from Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier. Gounod composed the Ave Maria melody to go with it. The piano part is an original solo work itself.
