It's in the eyes. Blink rate and symmetry is usually off in Ai - like they might get one eye stuck shut very briefly or not blink both eyes at the same time. And with the ones that use an Ai mask over a real person they'll also be glitches with the hair or clothing - like the "fake Ortega" tiktok that people are convinced is just someone with Jenna Ortega's exact face. I don't mind people using Ai, but it should be disclosed, and people need to learn to expect and identify it. The time of not being able to trust what you see with your own eyes is already here, folks.

If you want help on how to tell, it's the a mixture of things. Look at his mouth. It stays in the same resting postion between forming letters and he doesn't gain or lose creases around it when forming wider smiles. His eyes also don't wide or narrow when he speaks or form creases at the edges when he smiles as a real person would. You can actually see what I am talked about when you compare it to his face when he shows his real self at the end.

I think AI can benefit KZbinr's content. I think a really good example is anything DougDoug does with AI, stuff like challenging his viewers to fight it in chess where the AI has unfair advantages or seeing if it can solve a kids game like Pajama Sam, that kinda stuff is original and entertaining and shows the kind of content you can make with AI. However, when it comes to what Kweblecop is doing, its just not good. He's letting an AI just completely take over the creator's content. Hes not the focus anymore and that sucks. I'm not a fan of him, never watched a single video for him, but what audience is this even supposed to attract? Most people at that level of physical debility hire people to help them with life and it wouldn't be that hard to add, "can you help me move a camera around?" To their responsibility. If they don't want someone to help they can fucking use a webcam. Creating a way to reproduce a person without their personality, emotions, morals, etcetera it's not a fucking solution. People for the most part want to create content to have fun being themselves on camera and build a community. This is a fucking shell of content creation. I don’t think that people that create AI understand the main issue with it. These AI creators think that they’ll at least be the ones with a job. They never thought that once AI is created to the way these people want it like this guy, then there will be no need for the AI creators. The AI will just make new updates for themselves. Like how Chat GBT is supposed to learn on its own. That’s great and all, but then there will be no need in people to do anything if these AI creators get what they fully want. I'm pretty sure the physicists who laid out the underpinnings of atomic theory didn't have "weapon of mass destruction" in mind. It's not like just one person is responsible for these developments, and their contributions are often in a different context than whatever end result we get down the line. Once AIs are advanced enough to manage themselves, money may not even be a necessity anymore - whose hands would it have to exchange between? This would be an immense, radical shift to our way of life that speculating about it and how it will change the world is just ridiculous at this point in time - regardless of how close something like this may be to happening. Why grow our own food when AI can do so in a way that's tireless, optimal, and ensures everyone gets their fair share? If there's no human labor and they're fully self-sufficient, there's no cost to production anymore...

This sort of technology wouldn't be able to decide it has better goals than whatever goals we train it to pursue. It may pick unexpected solutions, but that's also kind of the point - you'd just use a program with a clearly defined set of steps otherwise. If it fails to give the intended results, you retrain it - this already happens and has yet to result in Skynet. Not sure what the rest of your post is about. The 1% are not developing these AIs. I'm not sure I understand why there would "always [be] a type of currency no matter where you live" when the need for one would be gone - that's like saying "you're always going to be thirsty because even when you've slaked your thirst oceans still exist". The blinking of that hyper-realistic AI model is what gives it away mostly, it's there's no motion in the eyelid for blinking AT ALL. That and the stiffness of the face where little details in the face are static....and stiff hair. It's....off. He's also not breathing at all and the space he's in shifts unnaturally. We could use computers to generate badly polygonal barely-textured no-shaders 3D back in the day. Now, we're approaching total photorealism in the case of some games. It's unlikely AI won't take the same route. Whether that's desirable or not remains to be seen.

Definitely an interesting point. Some (some, not all) KZbinr's can stop working and be ok and take time off rather easily. Whereas a lot of other big time jobs, especially ones that involve helping humans, (doctors, nurses, teachers, professors, any customer service job ever) can't just hang up their cap for the day without facing backlash. At least, there definitely isn't a scenario to just be like 'I don't wanna be a doctor anymore.' etc etc.

Here's something I thought about this morning. What if Kwebblekop just didn't keep telling people he's using AI? Nerdrotic and other KZbinrs retained their huge followings despite using AI to write their scripts and create their thumbnails because they never made big announcements saying that was going to happen. Plus, some VTubers use so many effects on their voices and use a digital avatar that their content could genuinely be AI going forward and people wouldn't know. Like, no joke, the first Kwebblekop AI looks and acts more like a person than some of the biggest VTube personalities.

For the best rice crispy treats try browning the butter in the microwave and use marshmallow fluff instead of marshmallows. You can brown the butter and use enough fluff for an entire batch of rice crispy treats or make a smaller amount for one or two people. Brown just a couple teaspoons (2-3) of salted butter in a big microwave safe bowl then dump in about a cup of marshmallow fluff and mix it with the hot butter. Then microwave until the marshmallow fluff is risen and really fluffy. Pour in your rice crispies and mix everything together. Keep adding some rice crispies a little at a time and mix until the rice crispy marshmallow mix is no longer super sticky to the touch. Eat out of the bowl while it’s hot. A little extra salt and a splash of vanilla extract added after you brown the butter after would be really good too. Using browned butter raises the flavor level so much. You don’t have to skim the butter or remove the dark bits. That’s where the nutty flavor is. Just microwave the butter until it turns a dark brown and smells really good. I love salted butter in this recipe and add a little more salt into the marshmallow mixture along with a 1/8 or 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Salt is just so good mixed with sweet, sugary foods like marshmallows. (Salted butter doesn’t go bad as quickly as unsalted butter, and I’ve never had an issue with any dessert I’ve made being too salty or not working correctly. I’m 46 and learned to bake as a little girl standing on the sides of a kitchen drawer to reach the countertop and have made a lot of desserts. I only keep salted butter at home. The only example where I would be concerned about using salted butter is making a compound butter or sauce that used a seasoning blend that already had salt in it.) You can add mini chocolate chips or peanut butter or other candies. Salted popcorn as part of the cereal or all of it would also be really tasty. You can also toast the rice crispies before using in the recipe. You do have to take care not to burn the edges when you bake them all spread out on a pan. I did a whole box of rice crispies at one time working batches to toast all the cereal. Once they cooled I put the toasted rice crispies back in the cereal box for use in rice crispy treats. The browned butter rice crispies aren’t difficult to make, and they’re so much better. 😂

I’m not an artist but I’m in a field where I have to write a bunch of essays, and for me using AI as a replacement speaks to the entitlement of so many people. Say we have an essay prompt on a subject that I’ve known about and studied for years, and the person knows nothing about it and doesn’t want to put in the time to actually learn. At the end we both submit our essay but theirs is AI generated and we get the same grade, it isn’t fair. The difference is said person thinks they’re entitled to a good grade simply because they want it, while others like me deserve a good grade if they learn and analyze the material well. It is insane and it’s like me saying that I should be on the field with Messi because I played FIFA games. It can be a pretty useful tool, one AI project I really liked was when a team recreated a lost ww2 speech using the generals voice. But they hired an actor who sounded like him and used AI to tweak it to the generals voice which I think is one of the few exceptions.
