I love how motorists respected the bus lane in the road. In South Africa, we have obstacles to prevent motorists from accessing the bus lane but that doesn't stop them nor the taxis from accessing it. Whatever country this is, you are very well-mannered.

The US is so far behind in public transportation! Nowhere here have I seen a dedicated bus lane, much less a clever O-Bahn!

Would be a great system for the US, especially for cities lacking public transportation. When you start with O-Bus now, you can slowly start building up a grid and allocating the space, and in 30 or so years when a demand is proven, light rail can be added. It is possible to run O-Bus and light rail on the same track.
