My most memorable movie was taking my two young boys (about 9 and 10 yrs old) to see Star Wars. Oh my Lawdy . . . They LOVED it! It was so much fun to go out to eat afterwards and listening to the two of them jabbering endlessly about it. Great memory! Thanks for sharing yours!

Some interesting picks there Mark. I'm a huge movie fan , in particular westerns , action , sci fi and thrillers. You mention Shawshank , so l presume you've seen The Green Mile , if not , a must see. My all time action sci fi that has stood the test of time ,( sci fis age badly ) ,is Predator. It could have been made yesterday. It's interesting that what you call a biscuit looks to me like a scone. Of course what I would call a biscuit you would call a cookie! Hi Tony, I bought Gladiator on DVD years ago and loved it on my home theater system. I read the book The Green Mile and have to admit the movie was as good as the book. I like some of the old westerns, The Good,The Bad and The Ugly is a classic. Thanks for sharing and for tuning in....:)

What makes those outdated computers even funnier is that some of them were so far ahead of what was actually available at the time that the directors had to rely on animation. I know that in Star War, the targeting system for Mark Hamill's fighter plane ship was animated by George Lucas' friend Dan O'Bannon (who created Alien).
