Such an honor that you mentioned me in your video. I can't tell you thank you enough. This is BY FAR my new favorite ASMR channel. Everything about it, the voice, the quality of the stories you tell... It's just so great. I went to bed early last night, so I didn't catch this one when it posted, usually around 2AM my time. Looking forward to listening at bedtime tonight! Popeyes is great! As another user commented, Jollibee makes great chicken as well. If you've not heard of them, they are a Filipino fast food place that has come to the States in recent years. Some of their stuff is...different...but their chicken is probably my favorite fried chicken out now. There is only one in the DFW area which I live in, and thankfully it's not far from where I live. Not sure if they're up in Canada yet or not, but if you ever come across one, give them a try! Definitely go with the spicy chicken. Thanks again, Mark. Very much appreciate your kind words!

You should definitely try "Jollibee" chicken. They have regular and spicy which are both great. Forgot where you're from, but hopefully you can try Jollibee. It's way better than any other fried chicken fast food place. Be sure to dip the chicken in their gravy. Yum!!!

Thanks for another calming, relaxing video. You mentioned Eli Wallach, I worked with him on a film and he told me that when he wrote his autobiography the publisher asked that he get quotes from famous friends about their thoughts on Eli to put on the back cover of the book. When he called Clint Eastwood, Clint told Eli to just make something up and put Clint's name to it. When Eli told his wife this, his wife ordered Eli to call Clint back and make Clint provide the little anecdote that was needed which he did. At the time Eli was frail, elderly but his mind was sharp as a tack. Nice man, RIP.

Thanks for sharing the video. Love the haircut. The local Popeyes in my neighborhood is a real coin toss. On one occasion, you get a real good crispy chicken sandwich with delicious sides. Another visit, you wonder if the chicken is even fully cooked. It’s that kind of a gamble. Love your movie choices. Shawshank Redemption is a fantastic movie. It’s one of those films that you can join at any part of the movie and you will stay and watch. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles will make you cry laughing and then just cry. I miss John Candy so much after watching this movie. He was gone way too soon.

The Shawshank Redemption was actually filmed here in Ohio where I live, the prison is closed now but that prison in the movie is about 30 minutes from where I live lol. Great video, very relaxing and I always sleep good when I watch your videos.

Hey friend! Happy new year! I have to say, I've always wanted to try Popeye's Chicken but there is not a single restaurant out here in Quebec. If I ever go to Cornwall or Ottawa, I'll give it a shot for sure. Also, I have to say, as a 80's kid, Hook is and remain my favorite movie with Robin Williams. I think classics really emphasize the story, characters, and dialogue which builds that connection with the characters! Too often we sit through a marvel movie or what have you and left the theater not really caring or thinking about the movie afterwards. I still think about these movies often, I never once pondered a marvel movie.

We like a lot of the same movies! Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, anything with Clint Eastwood, Bond movies.... the list goes on and on. If you have never seen Daniel Craig as James Bond, may I suggest watching "Skyfall". It's a really fabulous movie. Completely agree about Morgan Freeman too, as anything with Dustin Hoffman, Robin Williams or Tom Hanks. Oh, and by the way, you didn't miss anything not seeing Titanic! The most none event I've seen! Getting back to Popeyes.... sadly, in the UK we don't have Popeyes. I guess we're missing out... 😪 🇬🇧 Wishing you and yours a very happy and healthy new year. Hello my friend, I use lean ground beef, beef stock, onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, two kinds of kidney beans and a can of chick peas, yellow, red and green peppers, cumin, chilli powder and sometimes I add shell noodles and a can of corn for color. I never measure anything, I make it according to the size of the pot I am using....thanks for tuning in my amazing friend.....:)
