I love the concept of "What if live action Star Wars had continued in the 80's after Return of the Jedi" (as seen with Boba Fett and Ahsoka here). This just popped into my head, it's not really the same as what you do, but what if the actual 80's Star Wars TV shows (the live action Ewok specials and the animated Ewok and Droids cartoons) came out in the present day? I mean, us 80's kids all wanted more Star Wars after "Return of the Jedi" ended, and what we got was...."Ewoks".....I would've liked to have had some live action "Boba Fett" back then.

In my opinion, it works just as well if the names are shown in the credits at the end. The only condition for this is that the credits need to have a good design and/or soundtrack. If they have that, I will always watch them until the end and learn the names of the actors and actresses.

I was waiting for the "Ahsoka heroically overcomes age and arthritis" in the training sequence, but the EPIC DRUM FILL at @2:17 made up for it, in spades! It truly was a symphony of octapads and 303 soundfiles.

I remember this back in the fall of 86' the first season was awesome with 12 episodes and the second season brought the same energy although the production was plagued by infighting and clashing amongst the different personalities in the cast, numerous rewrites and financial difficulties and unfortunately we only got 4 episodes before it was abruptly cancelled.

Oh my gosh, PLEASE do a fan edit of the entire show into a one hour episode, in this style with this music. It will rock baby!!!!! Great job !!

@thedoomofsodan5163 Жыл бұрын
@@stevekramerf242 There are only like 10 minutes of good writing in there if even that. What little nonsensical plot there is, a cut of that could be between 60-90 min, which would certainly contain all vital information (cutting out all the unnecessary fluff/dialogues (so much doesnt add to character/plot or world building)/walking scences without expression/way to long landscape shots etc)
@stevekramerf242 Жыл бұрын
@@thedoomofsodan5163 Yeah 60 minutes might be doable, but I think you could condense this down to 30 minutes.

As usual, you elevate the source material far higher than the original program. I don’t believe a Star Wars product has equaled or surpassed your work here, with the possible exception of Andor. And you still did wonders with that too. 👏
