i had watched “It Happened Quiet” many times, but never this performance of “Animal” or “Churchyard.” These are among the deepest darkest of her songs. Thank you for posting the entire set!

Great call, reacting to this full performance! "It Happened Quiet" is the star here (popular amongst vocal coach reactors), but the other songs are great too. "Animal" has a great, very cinematic music video. "Churchyard" is one of her more popular songs, and is actually the show opener on her current world tour. I highly recommend you react to her KEXP Iceland 2018 performance. It's a legendary performance amongst her fans, and it opens with the definitive version of "Churchyard." It's only about 1/2 hour (six songs), so not a huge time commitment. Every song is an absolute banger!

This is one of the amazing performances/mini-concerts I love (but there are many from her). I fell like it has its own vibe and sound. But Churchyard version from another great performance KEXP 2018 is my favorite version of this song. There are also great version of All Is Soft Inside. BTW: Aurora and Silja Sol harmonies are insane :), Amazing music and cool reaction :)!

Yaaay, I’m so glad you’re back🤗 And I’m also glad you decided to do the full performance, love it😍 Animal is a quite stripped down version, I highly recommend the official video. In an interview with Backyard Opera she said: "Animal is inspired by today's society. There are some strange behaviour patterns in us, that I know we have in common with the animals, and some behaviour that even for the wildest animal, would be too cruel. We are such strange beings, and the song is inspired by the many things I dislike and like about us.” Both “Churchyard” and “It happened quiet” was inspired by domestic violence, and in the last one “she” gets killed and comes back to haunt him. These songs also sounds different on the album, but not as much as Animal😊 I, like others have suggested, recommend the mini concert at KEXP Reykjavik/Iceland 2018 It’s a fan favourite and a must watch😍
