It's called a "rite of passage" i don't know why western civilization has abandoned this concept, but it's basically to let nature teach how to take care of yourself and each other, instead of raising children to be dependent their whole lives.

@@nuanceblacksywin4868 I agree it sounds like fangirling :) And I am sure she can be quirky. But I'm talking about everything from her poisture, manners and dress code. Artist like Bjork Billie Eilish and Cindy Lauper are nice and quirky but they don't posses this kind of graceful apperance. I don't know wich generation you belong to but to a person my generation she here expresses a rare timeless elegance. And the she moves herself so gracefully. She must be a dancer or similar

As a Christian, I think she's right, we've taken God out of the earth, out of the things around us, and put him out of reach where its hard to be connected to him. He's become this untouchable thing when he's supposed to be with us at all times, it doesn't really make sense. She's got quite an interesting point there
@tobiaswedin
@tobiaswedin 2 жыл бұрын
Well christianity is the biggest villain in that aspect isn't it? If you think she is right maybe stop being a christian and find divinity elsewhere. Like the earth itself.

@@tobiaswedin But those old gods were actually supposed to be humans right. Like the Norse gods just visiting sometimes etc. Zeus living on a mountain, turning into a swan. I just think we're misinterpreting/ romanticizing how they used to see gods connected to everything in the past. Those gods were actually quite disprovable, since they were supposed to be more tangible. That's one reason why those religions died out I think. Christian god is supposed to be an invisible being that is everywhere. (Except he walks around in a garden in the beginning..., talks about having hands, a face and a back...). He is supposed to be unknowable and no one can see His face. (Except for Moses, Adam and others...)....
@kedrednael

@3 Stripes of mayonnaise Ah yes, unprovable and mildly conflicting by design.
@kedrednael
@kedrednael 2 жыл бұрын
@3 Stripes of mayonnaise scripture of Hindu gods is older. Does this make it even more likely than the Bible? More than a billion people believe in those gods. I am not saying it is just made up. The bible is written by many different people. Many probably believed what they wrote down. But why believe they were right? (Except about the historical events) Perhaps some wrote it as a scam or for manipulation. Like with Mormonism and scientology etc. You say "We prove his existence through nature and being". But nature only proves evolution and the fact that reality is complicated. Reality is complex, and it is not described well at all in these holy books. If the bible were correct, why are diseases actually caused by viruses and bacteria etc, not be demons, as claimed in the bible? Invisible evil demons, or certain things being cursed by a powerful creator are simple to imagine. Super tiny lifeforms that just reproduce by self-replication and as a by-product make us die are hard to imagine. Counter-intuitively the latter is correct. If people were actually talking to the creator of our universe, and if that creator loved us and wanted us to believe in it.. Why didn't that god say some correct things? It's not that hard to dictate some truths they didn't know yet. Just tell about the earth being a super tiny part of the universe, orbiting around the sun... Just tell about microbes and evolution... Knowledge about importance of washing your hands would have saved SO many lives. With regards to "The Brothers Krazmonov”. I've heard religious people say: "I hear Jesus in that piano music, that's beautiful". I just say: "That's beautiful piano music". I am *not* saying: "Piano music is just meaningless air vibrations and the air is probably fake too".

Removing God(s) from the earth and from ourselves makes sense if you and your group of friends wants to create a society where the exploration of the natural resouces and the exploration of other beings are the goal, so you can become almost untouchable by others. If the entire world believed God its everywhere, perhaps it wouldn't be so ok to destroy the planet and make wars etc.

The believers of Norse Mythology believed their gods were alive, just like you and me. They were part of this world, as much as me and you were parts of their stories and tales. In many ways, the Vikings for instant, lived in a ''story'' that was never ending, untill it's end point of Ragnarok. They didn't think things would change in the future, they didn't think about what the world would be like in 100 or 1000 of years like we do today, because they lived inside a ''story'' that is told throughout Norse Mythology, that explains the world, the universe, the gods, life, everyday morals and values.

Very few people seeing this clip will be able to appreciate the steaming pile of daytime TV dross which is Sunday Brunch. They are utterly unworthy of Aurora, tho she handled them well. I worry for her. As she gets better known she's being surrounded by the vapid nobodies who always infest music. I hope she can rise above them somehow and stay true to her original friends who only cared for her, not her earnings.

@@dulynoted3403 I may be wrong too, but I don't think the expression 'How do I best monetize this product' has, or will, ever gone through aurora's mind. Seems to be going through a lot of other peoples tho 😥

@@dulynoted3403 Bless you, only Aurora has the sort of fan who will apologise in KZbin comments. It only highlights how unique she and her followers are, which is exactly why she shouldn't have been on that goddam show!

0:55 What a pity that Aurora referred to god as "he" rather than "she" although at 0:36 she used the word "it"

It must be torture for someone like Aurora having to deal with morons like that on such a regular basis. I feel for her.
