Absolutely trouble in the best way possible. Embrace those tears. I've found that since discovering her music a few years ago that she's sung so many lyrics that put words to what I haven't been able to describe. It's amazing just how much healing can come from her music. With so many messages and styles of sound, there are so many you'll be able to go back to over and over to bring up memories & emotions, let the tears out, feel understood, want to dance... When you let that power of music in, it can certainly change you and she's been a literal life saver and healer for me. Not only her music, but interviews where her philosophies/thought patterns come up and her authenticity of being so free and connected at the same time. Not to mention her wit and wicked sense of humor. 😊❤

Never apologize for feeling your feelings when it's Aurora. I have the same reaction to many songs, every time, after a hundred listens, she just... hits you in your soul. The first song i heard from her was The River and it began a years long journey of healing I never knew I needed, because its okay to cry and you always feel better after letting go. I went years bottling my sadness, pushing through, "being strong", in an effort to take care of everyone else and then Aurora pops up and bam, she puts into words every emotion ive ever pushed down. Her music is therapeutic to the soul. It's healing. Now, she does have some absolute bops if you'd like to pace the emotional ones... Cure for Me, Daydreamer, Soft Universe, A Temporary HIgh, Giving into the Love, Do You Feel?, and some might say Queendom but that one also makes me happy cry. xP

as others have mentioned below, some real emotional and moving performances (for me anyways) very much worth reacting to: - Through The Eyes of a Child - also from this same concert. - Murder Song, 5,4,3,2,1 - also from this same concert. - Warrior - Live from the HAIK documentary. - Little Boy in The Grass - Mahogany Sessions - (worth looking up the background on that song) - Dance on The Moon - Live at the Exist for Love Sessions. - I Went to Far - Live on The Honda Stage - Believer - Imagine Dragons Cover. - The three song set she did live for the SOS OLE BULL charity event. There's a lot more worth listening/reacting to but...I hope you get to the above at some point. Peace.

I know what you mean about that visceral reaction to music. It's uncontrollable emotion that wells up from deep inside. Happens to me too with certain artists. Beautiful reaction.. just be yourself and don't apologize to anyone for feeling emotion. You are indeed in for a treat with Aurora. If you like tribal sounds, I bet you would love some other Scandinavian artists like Heilung ('Anoana' is a good one to start with), Kalandra (so many good ones.. 'Borders' is beautiful) and Wardruna (Check out Wardruna performing with Aurora - 'Helvegen'). I watch reaction videos like this, because I experience the same emotion as you and I feel it creates a connection of sorts. Quantum entanglement. 😁

Lets just say there are reasons why Aurora's audience ranges from teens to old war vets. She has been through a lot. Has lost 3 people close to her. One of which she lost from the Norway attack in 2011. But she always shows a way forward. Her playful spirit and understanding of dark feelings has such a contrast that is very unique to her as an artist, and as a person. When I first saw her many years ago I thought she was a bit odd. But she has changed how I see a lot of people.

This is by now an old concert (still making us cry). Bring Mike along (off camera) for a very much newer performance of Aurora in London, UK this summer. This time it is Aurora tearing up (The sound quality is horrible of course, filmed via a phone). Pay attention to the audience and how they respond, and ponder "vulnerability", "tears" and art. The audience in the capital of England did not make a sound of support or effort to "help" - but watched and listened in respect with shared tears. Here is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y36Zm2mOrpqgoM0 We are supposed to behave like you just did, and how the audience did for Aurora recently in return as human beings.

Way to fight through the nonsense, Momma. We appreciate you. Interesting vocal. The sound is nice. One bad thing about growing older is that almost all music becomes derivative. Nothing new under the sun, as it were. This reminds me of Loreena McKennitt, and that's not a bad thing.

I understand you. But, luckily with Aurora, she is so unique and gorgeous as a person, that it is not just about the music. It is more like whole experience, because she lives her songs. And she has great and original lyrics, mostly stories, in her songs, and an original voice and gorgeous harmonies and melodies. I think you couldn't compare many of her melodic links to an axisting song.
