I've been thinking of buying this pen. Question for you: will the barrel get ink stains? The material is very eye catching but I'm concerned over time it will turn ugly with staining. Your thoughts?

I think Aurora nibs are an acquired taste. Maybe the first time you try them you are kind of shocked by the tooth, but once you grow used to them they become a favorite (at least, that has been my experience). I love the feel of control they provide. They are tactile, not scratchy.

I've tried a fine nib on a shop and found it smooth, on par with the industry's standard. I think that the tooth actually comes from quality control issues, it's really easy to find a misaligned nib from Aurora or one that needs to be properly set unto the feed. And as far as I'm aware all Aurora pens use ebonite feed, so heat setting is a trivial task. Probably one of the most solid and well sorted Italian pens out there, no "perk" as most other brands have.

Quite a fabulous pen. Although I enjoy your face immensely, I'd love it if you'd draw back from the extreme closeup. Or would that cause more focus problems? It would be nice if we could see more of the pen without your having to brandish it in front of your face, and that would make the video more about the pen than your great face. Just suggestions off the top of my head.

This looks so unbelievably tacky for the money. And the clip looks pretty cheap. I'd go for a Visconti any time.

I have to respectfully disagree. I love the look of this gorgeous pen. But I do indeed agree with you about Visconti. Those are gorgeous pens, as well.
