If you're looking for something with real depth and meaning that can be fundamentally honest, beautiful, but also sad, then Aurora is the place for you. On top of that, she is also a great person. There is nothing acting. She is as she is and that will not change. Because those who manage not to lose themselves in this business at that young age, to remain unimpressed by negative external influences, will be just as firm and secure in life in the future. She doesn't give the impression on the outside and she sometimes seems very naïve, but that's not the case at all.

Yes, very sad song but also very beautiful! Not all her songs are sad but some are and some as she puts it are "sad but wrapped in something not so sad"! Supposedly she wrote this after reading about a man who had killed his terminally ill wife so she wouldn't have to suffer anymore. Of course,there are other interpretations of the song. I'm glad you are continuing on the Aurora journey. Next one maybe "It Happened Quiet" live at the Current or maybe "Warrior" (Live) - Stripped (Vevo UK LIFT)

I often muse that the murder in this song isnt a literal murder and also that the gun isnt a literal gun. the reason is the last bit about 'the gun is gone, and so am i, and here I go' part. idk but i just feel that the song is way deeper than we understand. aurora is a master magician working her ancient art and im 100 percent here for it.

She is as vulnerable as finely spun glass and as strong as high carbon steel. Her art rips you apart and heals you at the same time. Who does that? Her art is almost too intense to bear, but you can't look away. She is a siren in the form of a wood nymph. Resistance is futile!

Aurora live is never less than mesmerizing. She has some fun and upbeat songs. When you get to "The River" and "Daydreamer" from the magical 2019 HAIK concert (filmed in the forest where Aurora played in her childhood) you will see a smiling, dancing Aurora.

Hi there... what a nice reaction to one of the most impressive performances by Aurora. I would HIGHLY recommend to check out her concert at Nidarosdomen. This is, in my opinion, THE most beautiful concert, she ever gave ! As a first song from this concert, I would recommend to react to "Lucky Live at Nidarosdomen", a song which she composed at the age of 9 years... with such deep and meaningful lyrics. I'm sure you will LOVE her to pieces after hearing this song and want to do more from this special concert. Best wishes from a German Aurora fan : Gerry

Personally I like her first album the most (which includes runaway and murder song) because it's very melancholic. Of that album, I would recommend "Lucky" (especially the Vevo DSCVR version), "Winter Bird" and "I went too Far." Those songs are quite sad. Her later albums became increasingly uplifting (but also more pop-music in style). Of those, "It Happened Quiet" (Live at the Current), "The River" and "The Seed" are superb. Her latest songs, "Giving in to the Love" and "Heathens" are wonderful too.

Great reaction PP. I have subscribed to your channel :-) - Yes, Aurora pulls on your heartstrings like few other artists. She pulls you in and keeps you there for the entirety of her performances. When SHE snaps back to reality is when YOU snap back, too. Hypnotic experience for sure. Let me suggest my favorite performance by her. During Xmas 2017 she held an amazingly beautiful concert here in Norway, in our oldest and most beautiful cathedral, called Nidarosdomen. Nidarosdomen was built from the 11th century (right after the end of the viking era) to the 13th century. My take is Aurora is singing as the wife and she's singing as she's dying and then her soul is leaving her body. Her husband shot her out of mercy to prevent the long-term effect of perhaps cancer. This song is essentially an assisted suicide.
