she has a massive catalog, just dive into the rabbit hole and you don't need to look for other artists for at least one year. never boring, always exciting. thanks for your reaction. i'm curious what aurora song you will pick next. btw: she is best live in unplugged sessions and she isn't capable to write bad songs.

Check out Aurora performing "Lucky" from her concert at the Nidarosdomen cathedral in Norway. She performed a whole concert at the cathedral some years ago, and it's purely magical. Aurora Aksnes 28 from Bergen in Norway started forming melodies at the age of 6 with the words coming when she was 9. She never intended to be an artist and had no thoughts of being in the music industry. She is a singer-songwriter, producer, musician, and a trained dancer. She has recently released her latest album, "What happened to the heart."and is currently on another world tour. Aurora is great live in concert. Thanks

I would suggest one song that already been suggested LUCKY in Nidarosdomen or Through the eyes of a child in the same venue. Two hauntig beautiful song especially the first one. For me that is the best performance ever been made. Hope to see ya soon in an AURORA reaction

Great song choice for an introduction to Aurora. She has done a number of covers and interprets them all with such care you would think she wrote them. Try Across the Universe/Beatle cover or Life on Mars/David Bowie cover or Believer/Imagine Dragons cover. Look forward to watching more in the future. !!

Aurora has vibrato, she can sing like an actual angel, and she can belt as well. I think Aurora is probably the most underrated vocalist on the scene. She has amazing vocal control. She can dance, beat her chest, run around, lay down, and never miss a note. Her range is crazy. She does some of the best vocalizations and earth chants I've ever heard.

I think Eivor is the most underrated vocalist given she is probably one of the greatest ever, maybe the greatest ever, but little known. Eivor can go form throat singing to Opera in a heartbeat with perfect pitch and her ability to improvise is beyond belief. Never does anything the same way twice. Eivor is the singer where you often can't believe what you are hearing. Aurora is brilliant, love her too. I have been lucky enough to see both live and consider both the best artists since Kate Bush.

I'm so glad you discovered Aurora. When I was watching your first two Ren reactions over the last week or so I kept thinking that you would really like Aurora. You've got a journey ahead of you sister. She just released her fourth (or fifth, depending on who's counting) album "What Happened to the Heart" in June and it's a banger. It's absolutely worth listening to some of it to get a sense of who she is now and what she is thinking about as the album is very contemporary in its theme. But very worth visiting her older music too. As many will tell you, her live performances (especially early on in her career) are the best. This is because her stage presence is just something unique. But she also has a lot of music videos which are very worth watching. I don't think I've seen a bad video. So enjoy Aurora. You have a lot to hear and see.

AURORA's cover of The Beatles Across The Universe is the best cover I have heard by anybody, ever. Her and Eivor are must listen too artists, both very different, but both brilliant in different ways. I rate Eivor the greatest vocalist on the planet, but I love AURORA's vocals also and in particular her arrangements. In songwriting both are prolific in volume and quality. It's amazing that we have these two artists at the same time and they come from a similar region, Norway and The Faroe Islands. Best artists since Kate Bush. Both have collaborated with the same people, but I'm waiting for the AURORA/EIVOR collaboration patiently.

Norwegian, and one of the most inspirational vocalist/performers/writers/producers on the planet. She has a lot of outstanding original songs. Her best cover is God is a Woman, so check that out, also done on the fly in a radio station. But to be honest, listening to Aurora for covers is kind of absurd. You must see her own work, and you need to see it live. Nidarosdomen concert is outstanding, with the songs: Lucky, Murder Song and Through the Eyes of Child, best in that concert. The best place to hear her vibrato, since you mentioned it, is in the Piano version of her song, Temporary High: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIPFdJSrgNCkpdk For insane emotion in vocal work, listen to the following: Best song to knock your socks off is Lucky: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d563mqSIZ8SJd9k or the song Murder: kzbin.info/www/bejne/moLZl3d6es9jkM0

Her covers are sure amazing, and most of them I far more different from the original than is this one, which is very respectful to Elizabeth Frazer's thoughts, to me, while having the Norwegian's beautiful stamp, through the vocal variations which come to her. She really has a knack to catch the spirit of the lyrics and to rend them "as they have always meant to be", so to speak. To add to the list I've already seen in these comments, one whose original is not my cup of tea, and another one (to watch both absolutely, even if only privately, for your own sake!😀) 20181004 - AURORA - NRK P3 - God is a woman: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXqTqmlsqqeFl6M (original by Ariana Grande) 20171102 - AURORA - Nidarosdomen - 01/12 Nature boy (cover): kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpiYi3Z_lpqNp68 (original sung by Nat King Cole) That being said, her own talent fits even better her own discography. Anyway, thanks for this reaction to Aurora, this genuine and endearing Norwegian artist.🙂👍

Great reaction👍 Omg, what an adorable dog❤️❤️❤️ I subscribed in the hopes for more Aurora👍 Aurora has been my favourite artist for 9 years, she will be my favourite until the end❤️🦋 I highly recommend checking out her own songs, they’re fantastic😍 “Through the eyes of a child” live at Nidarosdomen (cathedral in Norway) 2017 “Runaway” live at the Nobel peace prize concert 2015 This was her breakthrough song, and is a great place to start. She wrote it when she was 11 years old😳 “The Seed”, I recommend both the music video + live at Vevo (two different versions) “It Happened Quiet” live at Current This song was inspired by domestic violence, she gets killed and in the end she comes back to haunt him. Aurora rarely write songs about herself, she’s inspired by our planet and the creatures living here💙🦋 All her albums are worth checking out😍

Aurora watches a lot of reaction channels and she does not copyright claim her songs on them. So you should be good to do any of her stuff. Maybe an exception on collabs. I'd recommend anything from Nidarosdomen concert. Or the full thing uploaded in parts? There's a lot of back story to her and she writes her own songs since she was a kid. Some of them are kind of dark for various reasons and I won't go into why here. But she has a happy contrast as well. There are documentaries on her that are worth watching some day.
