Aurora has said that she really doesn't want to make anyone sad, so she tries to give hope and sometimes uses upbeat music for her messages. The vines growing that she kept cuttuing were her emotions that she kept cutting off and she finally freed herself from the scissors and the emotions poured out and made something beautiful. Thanks for a great reaction.

I really love this video. It's such an interesting metaphor, with the emotions being represented by the vines, and only when she throws away the scissors and lets the emotions grow, can she truly be free. I think you'd really love her "Giving in to the Love" music video, which is also a bit different than you're used to.

The River, live from Bergen 2020 is a fantastic live performance of this.

Aurora sees the world in a different way, it's eye opening. That's why her lyrics can be so powerful. As to depression, I too have that Tee Shirt, so I understand.

The fact you dive so deep into her lyrics and care makes this far better. Pausing is fine in that context. Especially since you go back to really get into the song.

A good follow-up song by Aurora would be "Under the water" live on the Honda Stage.

This video was actually my first introduction to Aurora a few years ago and I immediately fell in love with her music. I understand those feelings of shame, but at the same time, I've discovered the more I listened to her music and most songs over and over, she finds a way to put words to things I've never been able to find words for, and she can make you feel so understood and loved, not to mention her music is incredibly healing. She has an innate gift for expressing herself and her love for people and the messages she writes. There's a live version of this song in her HAIK concert from the documentary. She's literally dancing and you can't help but feel the joy with her and let out those emotions. You're doing a very brave thing pushing through those dark emotions to keep listening because you're drawn to her voice. I think the more you discover, the more you'll find pieces of yourself in messages, inspiration, and even some inner peace. Thank you so much for this reaction. ❣

I love that you are doing so much Aurora. Thank you! Dont be ashamed for not wanting to be funerable. Everybody dose it just the same. Exept perhaps for Aurora, But she is a special case. She must have a very old soul or direct connection to mother earth or something.

Very nice reaction🥰 I love this song and music video😍 I love everything about Aurora, she’s such a beautiful human being❤️ Since we’re into her videos I highly recommend: “Running with the wolves” “Winter Bird” “Queendom” “Starvation” “Cure for me” “Apple tree” “Animal” “Your Blood” “Exist for love” “The conflict of the mind” “Giving in to the love” ✌️❤️

2:01 "This is a little bit more upbeat than I was expecting for something about crying" Aurora does make some songs like that, Churchyard for example (churchyard as in graveyard/cemetery). If you listen to the music it's upbeat, bouncy, poppy. If you listen to the lyrics it's dark and brooding (in my mind it's about domestic violence). The video on youtube titled 'Aurora - Churchyard (Live on KEXP)' is a good live version if you feel like listening to it.

I can relate. I seek out videos on KZbin, that will make me cry, some days more than others. Been diagnosed with depression, receive treatment and doing okay, but still feel the need.

I love that you are reacting to the 2 best contemporary artists, Ren and Aurora. Though their styles are quite different, they both have a unique ability to reach deep down and touch something deep inside us, with the power to heal.

This song is so easy, and so hard as the same time. It is simply: let your feelings out .... I think us men are very "good" in hiding how we feel, or rather: we are very BAD dealing with our emotions.
