Another very good technical review. Please consider adding another test to assess print quality at low to moderate speeds. It would be good to do a test where you print a tall angular object at the same low speed speed on each machine or even a test where you find the quality sweet spot on a given machine. Many of us will reduce speed to achieve a quality print and adding a suitable test to explore this would make a great many of us very happy. Many thanks.

Best video yet on the 3V3Plus! I just bought 2 of these printers as they were on sale. I liked this video as it gave me some ideas about PETG. Apparently, I was printer not hot enough. Also, seeing TPU working was something I needed to see. I haven't had time as yet to test TPU, but hope to tomorrow. I didn't want to run TPU using this silly side-mount spool holder! So I modified a top spool holder, that had the spool at the back, changing to the front. I've printed out a little runout sensor holder for the top rail as well. Tomorrow, I have to make 2 extension wires with connectors in order to move the sensor to the top rail. I just feel more comfortable with the spool on top, especially for TPU as the travel is much shorter, less tension and with whatever filament, no longer the issue that the side holder has with the filament getting tangled. For me, that silly thing that's supposed to prevent the filament from jumping and getting caught, just doesn't work. Like any printer/slicer combo, nothing is 100% perfect. But THIS printer is just amazing and the price is right! The main reason that I bought 2 within a day apart, is because I figured that it may take time to sell my old one and I might not get this on sale again. I'm glad that I did, because so often, I've had a long print going while I wanted to print something else. Now, I can. I love these printers!

I honestly have never had a tangle with the side spool mount on my v3 pluses yes I also bought 2 and Seriously I think my search for production machines at 379.00 dollars each is the best bang for the buck for The Best machine. If You want easy to operate and High speed printing Ender 3 v3 plus 300x300x300 build volume? Get one You Will Not be Sorry! Thanks for the Great Product review
@BlondieHappyGuy21 сағат бұрын
@@Halenstimbertime I did buy 2! LOL As for the spool tangle on the side issue (as many report) it's now moot. I mount up to 4 spools on a stand that had bearings. I moved the runout sensor to the top and feed the filament into that and then into the extruder. No more tangles. And yes, I'm very happy with these machines. As I type this, I'm actually designing a water level meter and use tinker cad's sim lab to prove concept. LOL Fun stuff.

Another great video. I always appreciate that you are so in-depth, compare the printer to the market (this is huge and a shame many others don't do consistently), and don't let the companies sway your approach just because they're sponsoring. Friends and i agree that a company willing to send you their printer for review is only a good thing. Because it shows they're open to a genuine audit. (Not entirely true but it's one positive point when the company could be content with zero ethical points)

Is having to agree to a privacy policy/user agreement before you can use the printer really a thing? Is it limited to Creality or is it industry wide with new printers? Thanks for the great review!

@corlissmedia2.04 ай бұрын
If she moved her mic to the left or right the “vocal fry” as you called it, which is really her breathing through her nose would be diminished. Given her worldwide appeal I don’t think she needs to worry about the west coast.

@@corlissmedia2.0 No, it’s not her breathing. Vocal fry is a clearly defined linguistic term. Look it up. She is clearly doing it, and it is predominant on the West Coast. Again, I’m not trying to be disrespectful, it’s just how she grew up speaking. It is kind of like an accent if you will.
@corlissmedia2.04 ай бұрын
@@subwayak I think you have to be a special kind of person to hear “vocal fry”. Moving the mic would change what it picks up. I could give a rats behind for the racism I hear in your statements, but thats me. It’s her voice, she has an absolute right to sound however she does, and we have zero right to attack her because our sensibilities are somehow “harmed.” When she’s a billionaire everyone is going to love her voice and absolutely no one with a bone to pick about how she sounds will be closer than another continent.

I feel like 300x300 is a weird middle ground that doesn't differentiate itself enough from 256x256 beds. If I'm going to buy a plus-sized printer I want at least 325x325.

Would you recommend a regular Ender 3 V3 or a BambuLab A1? They are basically the same price, only thing I don't like about the Bambu is the lack of linear rods on the bed. The 256mm bed size on the A1 vs 220mm on the V3 probably puts the A1 ahead. What do you think?

I don't own a 3d printer, but am very interested and watch all your vids. From watching many creators videos, I think something you should consider adding is how difficult it is to replace common wear items as it seems very easy on some printer and very difficult on others. When you recommended the ender 3 V3 SE, I did further research and found so many people complain the gantry is super wobbly. I'm surprised you had zero mention of this unless you example didn't have this?

I hope the bed has its own accelerometer to measure resonance, if it is using the one in the print head then I don't know what kind of magic they are doing to try and tune the input shaper. The K1 had the problem of measuring only the x-resonance and using the same input shaping values for the y-axis, even though they will not behave the same mechanically.

"core ZX" fooled my subconscious mind... I was startled when I saw the bed slinging. It completely changed my mind on the sort of printer the video was reviewing. Does that mean non bed slingers should be all called "core XYZ"? Or are there core XY printers that throw the bed up and down?

To my knowledge Creality isn't even SELLING their "new" AMS system yet????? Secondly, the interface was FROZEN on my 27" monitor. The message said there's a problem with missing AMS information (well, yea!) and you have to "fix it" but the entire interface was LOCKED SOLID. WARNING: Creality's newest slicer is DOA on arrival. Do Not Download and INSTALL.

While it printed very fast and having the prints turn out well, I ended up returning my V3 Plus. It was SO loud and when slowing down the squeaking sounded like a dental drill. I couldn’t stand it.
@BlondieHappyGuyАй бұрын
I have a suspicion that you may have not known to put grease (or PTFE dry lube) on all the rods. When I got the first one, I did find it a bit loud. I saw some vids talking about lubrication. I touched the rods and they did seem dry. So for now, I used the grease that came with the machines and a CAREFULLY applied it to all the rods, covering the entire surface, top to bottom. Now, the movement is smoother and very quiet. Also, I wonder too if those complaining about the noise, when sending jobs, have the "calibrate" option checked off. Or worse, if they are putting the printer through the bed leveling and shaping functions. That shaping function IS VERY NOISY. But that's is as it should be because it's making the printer vibrate a lot so that it can detect the shakes and create a map so that when really printing, it has an idea of what to expect and can compensate for it. Thus, gorgeous prints. I don't leave "calibrate" checked off as it's not necessary for every print.

@@AuroraTech About the glue, on my old printer I used MagiGoo. Wonderful stuff. So far, I haven't used anything on the Plus. So I wonder, with the textured side, how difficult is it to get the glue totally cleaned off, leaving the textured plate looking like new again? My fear, is that the glue gets down into the texture valleys and makes the texture look awful on the prints. So far, I can't find anyone who sells a new plate for this printer, that is Creality and not a knockoff. I would like to always have a spare on hand.
