Do you ever want to slap the camera out of Kurt's hand? For as smart and multi-talented you are, I'm glad you chose Armored vehicles and the museum...the show wouldn't be the same without you!!

Is he sure that the first piece to the shovel holder isn't reversed. It seems that the bends that hold the shovel blade are angled inward, shouldn't they be angled the other direction to better fit the shovel blade? Very curious about this...

This is not just an amazing exhibition of the skills in this restoration, but also a history lesson. The shovel details and fitting was really informative, thank you.

Having a non genuine engine is still ok as it allows you to show off the tank to happy crowds and you can always get the real engine later and put it in. Nothing is really lost. either you dont put a engine in and it never runs or you do and people can enjoy it .

The shovel 'blade' clamp seems reversed. It looks slightly splayed out and would seem to a better fit if the wider 'mouth' faced inboard.

Just for sh!ts and giggles it fun/funny to convert a AC-1 Sentinel into an Aussie version of a StuG III, a Stuginel if you will and mounted with either a 17-pdr or 25-pdr main cannon

i sort of have two questions, but answer whichever ya'll can or want to! For the StuG III G, what kind of camo scheme, unit markings and tank number are you going to do? And, Will the StuG be running this year or do you think it'll be next year till its finished? (P.S. its still Wednesday in Colorado USA!)

@@westmus They asked for opinions and that is mine, it wouldn’t be too hard to find an engine from the 1940s era to go with the tank. I am not saying it is going to be an original maybach either by any means.

An inertia starter, like a mower was pk I guess on a big petrol engine. But never on a diesel Cat with 3 times the compression. And whatever you must paint that very yellow Cat to German grey. What is the German word for caterpillar? Christen it thus.
