@@apridgen ​ Who doesn't love a good beaver? (Sorry... had to be done) Seriously... I'm a bit of a freak for float planes... especially Vintage Float Planes. I want to get better at analog navigation, but that was very hard with X-Plane 11 (without using a bunch of external charts and services). With FS2020, I'm hoping that VOR navigation becomes a bit easier to understand and get good at. My love of old aircraft goes way back to my childhood. I used to watch a show called "Tales of the Gold Monkey". This was an old Indiana Jones type show, and the lead character owned a Grummond Goose. This aircraft always played very prominently in the shows, and I used to pretend to fly it (with a short stick and some couch cusions). Being able to fly the 'real' (simulated) thing (in VR... ONLY in VR) would be a dream come true. It was one of the big reasons why I wanted to become a real pilot (which, sadly, never happened. One of my life's greatest regrets) I'm not so much into heavy Commercial aircraft. But older light commercial and/or general aviation craft... bring them on! I'm very curious, as well, to see if FS2020 is going to support Helicopters.

I might be an odd one out here, but I would really like to see an A350 and A380 add on that’s half decent. A380 along with the A320 is one of the most common aircraft I fly on so I kinda fell in love with it 😅

Mate i have pre ordered MFS2020 on Steam and i can say from playing flight sims for many many years (20 +) i am looking forward to what i call "real airplanes", basically the ones you have to fly old school with gauges and dials in the cockpit and usually multi personnel to fly them, such as: Boeing 727, Vickers VC10, DH Beaver, Lockheed Connie, Boeing 737, DC3, Piper Seneca, Piper Dutchess, Beach 18, Cessna 206, Cessna Golden Eagle 421, Lockheed Tristar, Concord, Twotter, BAE 146, Boeing 777 and the list goes on. For airports and scenery you have to include Suvarnabhumi airport, Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai (Thailand) Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Halifax etc for Canada. there is so many cool places in the world you can fly, so many airports and strips i could write 1000+ real aircraft livery's would be awesome. love your channel and content.

I’m sure this is very time consuming and I want you to know that I for one truly appreciate what you’re doing for the FS community while we count the days until we too can get our hands on this next generation flight simulator platform. I’m so glad I skipped a generation and stuck with FSX-SE. I got my money’s worth out of that and didn’t re-purchase all the high end ad-ons like all of PMDG’s and A2A’s products just to have to re-purchase them AGAIN for this version which is miles above P3D and XP. What this sim needs is shoreline/tidal effects. As far as I’ve seen, there’s no waves crashing on shores, no whitewater, no running rivers or flowing waterfalls (I live on Maui so this is always a huge part of the scenery in flying around the islands). This is all painfully absent, and will be even more so when helicopters arrive. I’m surprised they didn’t model this in the sim from the start as fluid dynamics are a significant part of the scenery. I’m hoping a third party will do something as active water is needed, especially in places such as the tropics as Hawaii.

I would say If you know a lot about computers go for the PC version but if if you're not really in into technology just get a good Xbox like the one s or the One X or you can even wait for the series x that will release in November. Yes if you have a fairly modern TV the Xbox will work on any of them. You can already pre-order the PC version on the Microsoft flight simulator 2020 website or if you are going to get the Xbox version you can either buy the physical version in a store or you can buy it it on the Microsoft flight simulator 2020 website. there will be a physical version and a digital version. you could play with a keyboard and mouse or just with the Xbox One controller but if you are are going to play this game a lot I would recommend and getting a side stick or yoke and sort of throttle quadrant or rudder pedals the thrustmaster ones are pretty good quality. If you want it to run this game well well on PC you need to get a good one the specs are on the Microsoft flight simulator 2020 website. you will only install a part of the game because the rest will be streamed from the internet. hope this answered some of your questions😉

We have a pretty modern TV as in New but not modern as in those big smart apple tvs with KZbin and Netflix and stuff so I think I'm gonna go with the pc version. One question:does any kind of monitor work or do I need the windows 10? The third party aircraft just aren't looking as crisp as the release planes. Hopefully developers can get them look as good. But having said that is early days yet fingures crossed👌

I think they are super earlier of some of the preview shots. As most look pretty bad.
