Yeah the car changed lanes into the truck. You can tell this because the truck was straddling two lanes when it struck the car. Oh...wait...

Pretty sure the truck was changing lane into the car. Its left wheels crossed the line. Note that this is Australia and we love travelling at the speed limit not going over it. It isn't hard for the truck to go slightly faster than the car.

Second clip, that truck was 100% in the wrong. The car was well in front before the merge.

If car drivers don't sit in truck blind spots, this sort of thing won't happen. I still maintain car drivers should spend a couple of days in a truck so they have got an inkling of what's involved in driving a truck and the cars around them, because most car drivers can only see to the front edge of their own bonnet.

I’ve had the same thing happen to me on Eastlink here in Melbourne. Standard of driving on our roads these days is absolutely appalling. We need more traffic police
