The Austin A 40 was popular in Italy as well since it was manifactured by Innocenti in the Lambrate (Milan) factory. Innocenti in susequent years made Ado 16 variants sold in Italy as IM 3 - IM4 - IM5. But the best seller was the Mini manifactured in Italy from 1965. Three serie Mk1- Mk2 - Mk3 - saloon/ Traveller (Mini T in Italy) and Cooper. The Mini Cooper 1300 Export was the last to come out of the Lambrate factory replaced by the unloved Innocenti-Leyland Mini 90/120 (Gandini design). From 1974 to 1976 Innocenti made also the Allegro sold in Italy as Regent 1300/1500.

Those headlight / turn signal bezels were also used on the Morris Major and Austin Lancer from 1959 - 1964...I have accumulated too many of these die-cast items to ever use: sturdy pieces.

I was trying to read the scribble before you mentioned it. It looks like Austin H Sprite to me 🕵️ I went to hopefully buy one of these Farina's in the late 80's , from the local paper "Cars £300 & under" section (!) My Dad drove me there and within about 30 seconds, he said "Walk away Son" . Sadly the car was riddled with severe rust.
