ADS is a HECK of a wrestler and he should be proud of himself. He is at a crazy tough weight class where guys are literally 1 point away from each other on a consistent basis. Keep your head up ADS... we all enjoyed watching you wrestle. You BRING it!

I will miss this guy. Always loved watching him wrestle. I was rooting for him to win. He always took it to everyone with exception of the one forfeit against RBY. Couldn’t get past him. I hated watching him take the match to RBY and end up losing and the ADS haters would always talk about DeSanto not finishing etc. sometimes you are on the mat with someone who is on a different level athletically and RBY was.

I love what the coaches at Iowa did with DeSanto. He probably would’ve been an AA at Drexel, but maybe not a four timer, and probably wouldn’t have matured as much. He may have had some pretty unorthodox antics throughout his college career, but the growth is noticeable in his character. He’s been fun to watch, going to miss that gas tank.

People hate on him allot but hes the energy the sport needed. Dont get me wrong I love sportsmanship but this sport is a war and he makes the best use out of that energy. One of the few that leaves it all out there every single time. The embodiment of the iowa style. I hope we see him in freestyle

I started noticing last season that he was chilling out and this season, he's acted borderline professional. It's funny how we (me, included) put labels and stigmas on 18/19 year olds and forget how much growth can happen in that formative age. He's actually turned me into a fan this season.

I read that Desanto is on the autism spectrum. This could explain some of his behavior to an extent. There was a Jeopardy contestant on the spectrum who would occasionally behave "inappropriately" when he'd get an answer correct, celebrating awkward - especially in that kind of setting. He's intense and driven, thats for sure. Most wrestlers definitely have difficulty figuring him out and keeping up with him. McGee was certainly couldn't.

I just don’t understand why people put the results in the headline. It seriously ruins the experience for a lot of people and makes me not even wanna watch it. But what I really don’t understand… Why do you continue to do it knowing your viewers hate it? I must have read dozens of comments from your viewers asking you not to include the results in the title/headline, but you still do. Some even asked nicely and approached it as some helpful feedback. Whatever, I’ll watch the matches elsewhere.

Couldn’t stand this guy. AWFUL sportsmanship throughout good career. Pulled for his opponent I every match. Loved the fact that a class act like RBY always had his number.
