Austin mini wheel tub and quarter panel fitting *panel work almost finished!*

Finally the rear end is starting to come together and in this video I get the passenger side wheel arch/ tub fitted as well as the quarter panel

Having watched all the videos in this series I would say it is a much more realistic representation of a mini restoration than a lot you see in a pristine workshop with more tools than a BMW dealership! Well done getting this far and I hope you keep it going as the finishing line is very close considering how far this car has come after being recovered from the bottom of the sea :)

Sean, I know what you mean about replacing whole panels as some times you just chase the rust and end up with far more patches than you thought, Great job a couple of door skins and your all most there lol. Cheers Dave

Great video Sean. Yes i know what you mean about wanting to just get the panel fitted and forget to punch the holes for the plug welds. I have done the same thing many times in haste to finish the job. But it is looking good now and just a bit of fettling to sort out the final finish. Look forward to more great vids ! Cheers, Jeff.

I think if you new at the time you had more repairs to at the time you would have done them and never thought more of it Sean, it's just because you had to go back to them but it's done now so moving on buddy 👍

Cheers Chris, the rear quarter and wheel tubs are all heritage panels. From all accounts Magnum panels for the quarters are just as good so I could have made a saving in this department
