What I find sad.. is people focusing on the whereabouts of the apple. It is merely a distraction- like so many things happening these days.. and you fall for the distraction, rather than focusing on the story. Who cares where the apple went? It is unimportant. The thing I have loved while watching the reaction to videos for "In A Heartbeat" is that it has seemed universally positive whether old, young, gay, straight, male, female, and regardless of color, proving that people are seeing a sweet story about first love. The fact that it's two boys while pivotal to the story is treated not the main issue, THAT'S that overwhelming fear the first time you're attracted to somebody that they won't or can't return those feelings. I believe that's why this short resonates across all demographics, because it is a universal experience.

This animation really relates to me because there is this straight boy in my 6th period who is really, well, cute and even though he seems like one of those stuck up popular people, he's pretty nice. His locker is on the first level and mine is on the second, so after that period, I slowly take the long way to my locker, just so I can pass him(I'm not a stalker, just crushin') Also, we were doing this thing that required 3 people up front and I volunteered. He did too and I was all awkward and totally ruined my chance at talking to him! After that, I was just mentally kicking myself.
