My mom who was my motivation loved this song and played it on repeat during her battle with heart disease, blindness, and kidney failure. Yesterday she lost her life, but God tells us though we may die we WILL live, and that when we enter His rest he will wipe our tears and we will NEVER hurt again. I too can agree 100% with your testimony what you shared. First my Mom died went home to be with the Lord. She called me and she was a music lover and a school bus driver 27 years before a drunk driver hit my Mom on her way home from driving school bus. She loved her job, Our Mother's love kids and loved us with the Love Of Jesus. She called me crying because of her injuries from accident I thought at first, a combination, she loved and missed us kids everytime she seen a school bus she would cry missed her job, the kids. I asked her Mom how do you deal with the hooligans lol how Mom? She Loved Jesus God with whole being she simply said, "When the kids get on my bus I told them the rules you guys got to quiet it down, sit it down, buckle it up shut it up cause God's driving this bus". Lol She then said, "You need to allow God to lead you to guide our hearts and minds daily. She also said, "You should have seen what those curious kids whispered to each other throughout her bus like a chain reaction those little kids asked each other who is God.....shhh sshhh hush God's driving the bus my friend your going to be fine as long as you allow him to lead

I've never even heard your music before today. Your young and in love with the Lord. I can't believe this. Today I was talking to God, praying to Jesus. Repenting, and so, so overwhelmed that our God could still love me, tears running down my face. I said Lord; you know me, see me, and you still watch over me. You know every secret I've kept, every lie I've told. Today I awoke from the grave. I was looking for a ringtone and I found your song, wake up sleeper. You don't know me, yet your song was me, I also listed to another and guess what. It's like the words you sing are a story of my long years of rebellion, and a heart that was dead. You see I do know the Lord, but in 1993 my only child, my son was killed in an accident at work. He was twenty. I prayed to die, I couldn't think of living in a world void of him. Well as you can tell, I'm still here and alive. I've been living in my grave. Today I realized I can't survive anymore without Jesus. Today I relinquished all control over my life to the Lord. As I was praying that still quiet voice spoke to me, he said I will restore everything the devil stole from you. I said Lord I handed it over to him. I gave him me. The alcohol, the drugs, I used to try and destroy my life. The poison handed to me so freely, I took. And he said; my daughter I love you. He said no one is worthy, my son paid the price. I've known you your whole life, my angel's have guarded you. But you had to choice to awaken oh sleeper, and come out of the grave. So you see. The songs, the music, the timing was preordained. Today, I googled "What are some things Jesus went through on the Cross?” And what I read was interesting and upsetting. I read it on Desiring God’s website, if you want to read about it. I also found out that the nails went through the wrist, not hands, and that the specific type of nails that the Romans used on Him were specifically designed to create minimal blood loss and maximum pain.
