To be fair, I'm Australian and I've seen wild kangaroos, echidnas, wombats, kookaburras, koalas, and emus. It's not all that uncommon, and the stereotype exists for a reason. Like yes animal lives are important, but please don't do it on the goddamn tram lines. It's raining and my suitcase is 22kg. I have to walk up hill with it to my airbnb (my suitcase had a lot of books in it that i bought while i was in melb) now bECAUSE THE TRAM LINES WERE CLOSED DUE TO YOUR PROTEST. I was waiting for 20 mins for a tram that I didn't even know wasn't running until someone told everyone who was waiting at the station .-. Protests are ok if you don't impede on a whole bunch of people like that :/

I always wonder why the names of Australia 🇦🇺 and Austria 🇦🇹 sound very similar but they're just totally different ye know. I know Australia is in Oceania while Austria is in the centre of Europe and it shares the borders with Germany 🇩🇪, Switzerland 🇨🇭, Italy 🇮🇹, Liechtenstein 🇱🇮, Slovenia 🇸🇮, Hungary 🇭🇺, Slovakia 🇸🇰 and Czechia known as Czech Republic 🇨🇿. I also know the language of Australia is English and the language of Austria is German. You may find kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles, sharks and platypuses in Australia 🇦🇺 but not in Austria 🇦🇹. To be absolutely specific on the etymology of Austria and Australia: 'Austria' derives from a Latinization of Old High German 'Ōstarrīhhi' which meant "eastern empire". The 'ōstar' part ultimately comes from the ancient common ancestor of English, German, Latin, Greek, Sanskrit and many other Indian and European languages where the predecessor of 'ōstar' meant "in the direction of dawn". 'Australia' derives from the term for a mythical continent known as 'Terra Australis Incognito' which meant "unknown southern land" in Latin. 'Australis' was the adjectival form 'auster' which means 'southern' but originally meant 'the southern wind'. The southern wind in question, the sirocco, is actually to the southeast of Rome and was originally associated with the east. Early Romans that still spoke that ancestor language I mentioned earlier called that wind "the wind in the direction of dawn" using the same word that gives us 'ōstar' in Old High German. All to say that, ultimately, the 'austr' part of 'Australia' is actually related to the 'austr' part of 'Austria'.
