Sheldon disclosed that he was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome when he was six years old, which explains the lyrics - it prevented him from talking to anyone other than his sister as a child. I think he sings with a mask because of his condition, as that is when he’d feel more comfortable and confident. Taking it off on stage was symbolic, but it would have been more than that. It’s a highly personal song, and the emotion felt very real.

Hey Andy i always enjoy your reactions, they are an embodiement of positive vibes and affection, great work. I myself saw the winning performance after the results were out and i was amazed. It’s got a lot of potential but i think you need to listen to it 2-3 times to to fully appreciate it.

I'm sorry I'm going to have to disagree with you. The fan is there to give a vibe a mood with mist etc. It's not distracting at all. I always get nervous when someone walks down steps don't want them to fall but he pulled it off he has the package this will go straight through to the final great song 😌

This has a lot in common with Kate Miller Heideke- its all about narrative. Hers was around 9post-natal) depression tis is about neuro-diversity and finding your voice. Not sure how well it will do but its emotional and raw.- certainly Jury bait.

So we're not the same, Ok I get that. The lyrics must have taken forever to write. An outstanding vocal and stage performance does not make a great song and the constant repetition was too much for me. I wanted more storyline as it promised at the opening. I felt initial vibes of 21 Pilots then it got stuck. The River sung by Krystian for Poland tops this for me, less theatrics. This will get a high placing I'm sure, so worth a wager despite my opinion.

I had high hopes for Australia but they were dashed yesterday. Now they sit at the back end on my top for this year’s contest. I’m so over personal crises songs. If you can, Andy, watch Voyager’s performance. *edit* When you said “is that it?” at the end of the performance is exactly how I feel about this song. Sorry.
