3? No way. Awesome balance. Going to be a ripper. As an 🇦🇺 I love seeing a different perspective on something I'm used to seeing. ✌

Glad to see you enjoy our country. I've lived my life enjoying the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Northern NSW. Am a Brisbane old boy. First surfed Snapper Rocks in 1975, along with my other favourite spots, Duranbah, Kirra and Burleigh.

Hey Guys just came across your channel in the last few weeks and following your adventure 1st place to visit Australia you picked a nice spot i grew up in Coolangatta and my Grandfather bought a Guest House on Greenmount Hill in 1944 Has changed alot since the 60's and 70's and become a lot more crowded but still the best part of the Gold Coast in my opinion i could even see 10 foot Kirra breaking past the Big Groyne from my classroom desk 1978 too many distractions 😂 Hopefully you come back soon lots more to discover Downunder 🤟👏

Glad you enjoyed our videos! We are coming back soon. I wish we could of seen the Gold Coast like that back in the day. I couldn’t of gone to class with waves like that! Lol

you guys make shopping fun. Love the view from your place, awesome surfing as always, it seems very crowded on the waves but amazing how much control you had avoiding the others. Have you ever run over another surfer? I really miss the drone.

Thank you Sylvie we try! My parents came to visit and bought me a used one for my birthday so it’ll be back up and running soon. I don’t think I’ve ever run someone over but it does happen!

Beautiful beach!

You used to be able to surf that wave all the way to Greenmount beach before they stuffed it up by to much sand dredging.That is also the cause of the strong current he was talking about.
@TheWickmansLife20244 ай бұрын
Dang I knew they did something, I wasn’t exactly sure what it was but I knew they altered the bank.
@Batfink114 ай бұрын
Oh yea, they completely stuffed it up, I used to catch waves from snapper point all the way to Greenmount beach.Greenmount point was one of the best points on the Goldcoast now it doesn’t exist due to how much they increased the size of the beach.It also destroyed Kirra as well,Kirra was insane,it was the next point around from Greenmount.You could probably see how awesome that whole area was on KZbin.Over the hill from Snapper is Durambah beach that is a great spot to surf.
@RobertSmith-xy6wk21 күн бұрын
Yep Kirra super Bank. All the sand is from the northern rivers of NSW. Look up longshore drift. It is all moving north to Fraser Island. The sand at Kirra is from the Tweed Bar sand pumping jetty accelerating the process but keeping the what you would call an inlet but we call a coastal bar deep for boats.
