This is extremely nostalgic. I still remember going to the park close it closing when I was 4. Still have old home videos and photos of my family and I at the park between the years of 2002 and 2004. Sucks that it got closed down

That wonder land theme song though🤣😭😂 it was funny how that song would play all day & I'd get annoyed lol to hear it years later brings back slot of memories I spent with my siblings & our kids there

Truly was Wonderland for me. Apparently there's going to be another Wonderland built in Hoxton Park in 2021 by Ammar Khan and will be called "Worlds Of Wonder". How exciting! Can't wait!

Definitely remember in my childhood there was an epic party you couldn't stop having fun to and I kept dancing the night away definitely so mind blowing so yeah!!!

I've heard reports / rumours that Wonderland is set to Rebuild / Reopen in western Sydney or SW Sydney, I used to love cruising along the M4 and seeing the big old roller coaster and what was I think it was the "space probe 7" unfortunately the last time I went there was when I was in year 6 on a school excursion in 1999

I remember Wonderland, going there as a kid and teenager!! I was gonna go back in 2004 about 2 months before it shut down but never got the chance! I wished I'd gone for the final day now! Good family memories going there living in Canberra at the time! :) Miss this place heaps.

I remember in 1987 they had bands perform on the main stage and it was here I saw my first concert of Wa Wa Nee!!

Such a pity that Wonderland was run into the ground by the Sunway group...they only added 1 new ride in the 7 years they owned the park. They had no vision to improve it at all and blamed everything but their own poor management when they closed it down. We can only dream of what this place would be like today if it was owned by a half decent company with a vision for its future such as Six Flags or Warner Bros. Sydney has never had a true replacement for Wonderland in the years since. So many childhood memories of this place....I went there the year it opened (1985) when I was only 9 years old and over the next 19 years I probably went there another 20 times at an estimate. It was truly a magical place when you are a 9yo child....it's sad to think today's kids will not experience something like it.

Fuck Wonderland was amazing. My dad would take me nearly everyday after school just to go on the bumper cars and the space probe. Some amazing experiences.

Thanks for the post man. I remember askyou something about the last day on another one of your videos. The lines would of been terrible that day, you can see the lines for the dodgem cars. The final gate closing made me laugh with the whole "mate you missed it" but it also made me sad. What exactly did you do at wonderland as far as work there?

every time i see a video of the old park, i swear i can smell the food and the brake fluid of the rides and rubber smell of the dodgems and just everything and hear the tacky recordings of the gargoyles and headstones saying things. makes me sad, because i was always at wonderland, and it was as old as me, and it shut when i was 19. Makes me sad. what i dont miss is, the dancers at the end of the day with the giant characters. lol. so tacky. I just hope the new one is just as good maybe better. =0)

O'k Aussies, Wonderland will always be with us, only in memory, and good times they were, ...BUT now we have a new theme park coming called "Wet n wild" Sydney and it will be the greatest and the best in the whole world because we will make it the best .. type up Wet n Wild construction and watch the Wet n Wild come together untill opening day in Summer of December 2013. Enjoy!!

i went there as a kid... im 14 now and wish i could go there so bad. i remember bits of it and coming off the rollercoasters terrified! as if it went broke, there looks like there heaps of people there? or they sold it.. of course money comes before people happiness. it ovbiously made a million people happy :( i still have my origional photo of me and my dad on the demon i think ?
