I can sense the personal growth! It’s never easy and sometimes it will flip your world on it’s head. Super proud of you anyways. Awww don’t worry about your superviser! Art people (teachers, photographers, artists,etc) are always super honest and critical and it’s soooo subjective! She sounds like a hardass but just think positive and be proud of yourself and your work because art people can make you doubt your talent but you can’t let them take your passion away. 🙌🏽

My husband and I just pcs from Fort Drum (right next to Syracuse), it's a beautiful area with nice people but the snowy weather is like pure Narnia. I'm so happy to be away from that level of snow. It snows from like October to June.

Everyone goes through different stages of growth in life. Totally normal. You’re growing up. 25 is a tough age because you realize wow I’m on the next stretch to 30! Where is my life going? I think it’s a great idea to take time alone and reflect or ponder what’s important to you and what you really want in your next stage. Always be open to new possibilities and don’t be afraid to take chances. You seem to be pretty level-headed for your age. Have you thought about what you want to do after the Air Force?

Hi Elora, love and appreciate your videos (they’re super helpful). I’m currently trying to enlist and would absolutely love to go after photojournalism. However, my recruiter keeps telling me in order to do photojournalism have to go into broadcasting journalism first and then cross train. But every time I ask him to help me get more information on it he just changes the subject and won’t help me. So I guess my question is would photojournalism be under public affairs or it’s own job?? Also what do I do if he’s telling me it’s required to put down open general or open mechanical in order to get the jobs I want? I don’t think that’s accurate but I’m not sure.

Roslyn Marrero I see this question a lot. It's weird how this can influence someone's choice in joining. Judgment from others for 2 months is the least of your worries when you are in the service. And if you can't handle something like that then don't join honestly. But no, no one is worried about what you look like. Everyone just wants to get the heck out of there.
