Great vid & a great adventure. I enjoyed watching. Sorry to say that whilst Bogong is the highest in Victoria, it's not even in the top 10 of the highest mountains on mainland Australia

Really enjoyed watching your adventure! Did you use a gopro selfie stick or your trekking pole for the filming? Also - i can't believe you found that shed in the middle of nowhere 😂...it is a bit of a maze in that section.

BTAC & Parks Vic. cleared Long Spur in Dec. 2022. It was a huge job.The Cleve Cole hut to Mt. Wills summit hut hike takes all day and is quite taxing!

Enjoyed watching one man’s journey into psychosis. 👏 I’ve done 200km of the aawt so can relate to everything 🤣

I remember running into you on AAWT back in January (2023), we met literally on the border line near Mt Bimberi. I was coming from ACT and you were coming from NSW.

Entertaining stuff, success and stuff ups alike 😂 as an extremely experienced visitor in all seasons and types (walk, ski, 4wd etc) to these areas, i know them like the back of my hand - it was great to see someone giving it a go for the first time with a great attitude. Ps the free lift to limestone creek worth it, the section between johnnies top and cowombat flat is pretty uninspiring on foot tbh, and infested with horses

Congrats mate, looks incredible. Thinking of doing this walk during November and I have a few questions. Did you need to book any of the campsites beforehand? Did you have much hiking and navigation experience heading into the walk? Anything you wish you had known before starting? Good luck if you decide to tackle the full AAWT !
@frozenragu Жыл бұрын
Don't need to book any campsites. If you're concerned about navigation get avenza maps on your phone and download the relevant topographic maps, can't really go wrong
