I think Breakdance is more than just „being the best of the best“. It‘s about culture also. And she is an expert on this culture, intellectually at least (she has published several papers, especially one about the relationship of breakdancing and olympics in 2023). I don’t understand. HOW DID SHE GET TO THIS POINT? I’m not even talking about the people who lied to her about to her skills. I’m talking about the judges. HOW did she get through qualifiers for the *olympics* . Like I can understand random judges here and there throughout her career giving her points for “creativity” but that doesn’t explain her making it to the top.

I would say she is one of those people who has gone thru life where her parents have told her that everything she did was exceptional, she would never have been told no and she is in that age group where every child at school that runs in a race or there is some sort of competition that gets a prize.

The fact that they doubled down makes it worse. Creativity is great for interpretive dance but for breakdancing you need creativity, skill, athleticism, and style. All I saw her doing was flopping on the floor. I literally did the same thing when I was 3 trying to breakdance.

Raygun could have done a non-athletic performance that emphasized artistry and imagination. She didn't. She threw together an "act" composed of jokes, memes, and oddities. Very inconsistent in emotive content. More of a high school talent contest quality, than an olympic effort.
