28:50 Now The Detonators on SKYTRACK are Malfunctioning! I've never seen so many technical faults in SKYTRACK in one series ever!

Yeah Shane Skytrack button must've had a Technical malfunction.

Tower is noticeably absent in this one, I wonder why he sat this one out. He's in the opening introduction with the live audience, actually even Predator dons the outfit for the intro despite the knee injury. First time I've seen Gauntlet without Tower, and he's usually on every Suspension Bridge.

He injured himself in the Atlasphere in QF2, you see him kinda fall over awkwardly in it - then missed all episodes until the grand final.

And only 2nd time he isn't in gauntlet coz if it fun fact in this series heat 3 only has every gladiator participating not including Electra where as S1 and S2 majority of episodes had all playing apart excluding rebel who quit so this season had a lot more injuries

I wrote a post on the Gladiators fan Facebook group about my five favourite eliminators ever, and I ranked this episode's men's eliminator as #3. Paul Stubbs vs Shane Vuletich. Australian Series 3, Semi Final 2. Paul Stubbs, Series 3 runner up, has a five second head start. He can blitz the eliminator in 51 seconds when he's on his game, but here, a little stumble on the travelator almost costs him his grand final spot. Shane is fierce and determined, has had a very easy run to the semis, and, even though he knows he's unlikely to win this eliminator, he won't take the loss without fighting every step of the way. You can just see the desperation and determination in his run. His previous best was I think around 1:14, but finishes in 59 seconds here. He has a great run, and when Stubbsy stumbles and messes up his first travelator run, Shane is halfway through the balance beam. Both men hit the travelator simultaneously, and Paul Stubbs just barely squeezes to the top and through the paper burst with only a second between them. One of my favourite eliminators in that the underdog comes within a hair of winning. But the right man won, and the grand final is Paul Reynolds vs Paul Stubbs, just like it always should have been.

1 has to be battle of the Pauls

Shane was such a fierce competitor I would have liked to have seen him up against Paul Reynolds

Also, dominant victory by Paul against Hammer, beating him at two different 1v1 events.

Injury to tower why he had to do susp bridge I guess condor could have done it but then would be the same

Does anyone know why Mike Whitney never shakes Kimberley's hands when he comes on in the beginning.
@user-sb2tb9oe7d Жыл бұрын
Maybe he'd find it weird shaking a ladies hand and decided hugging her would be too touchy feely.

Because Stubbsy made no mistakes on the eliminatior

Vulcan fell when he stepped back. What a terrible decision by the ref. Although I noticed the decisions usually favor the Gladiators.
@patcrites5274 Жыл бұрын
No. It wan"t because Shane did push Vulcan off, so his DQ was deserved

I am confused why did Catherine only get 5 in suspension bridge when Glacier had fallen off the bridge yet Paul got 10 on suspension bridge when Hammer lost his hammerhead.
@chriscotterill19893 жыл бұрын
Hammer was an instant DQ - No Arguments there on that one. 10 points to Paul Catherine was very unlucky - in the UK, she would have got 10 points for that effort but the Rules in Australia must state she still needed the Hammerhead to get to the other side Shane again unlucky but the right decision in that case. DQ
@jeremyritter6673 жыл бұрын
Kinda ridiculous that you don't get the 10 points if you manage to knock the Gladiator off the bridge.
