Very informative! I didn't really start paying attention to F1 until recent seasons, so the old highlights were great to see. I like how you don't just tell us about the track, you show it to us in the simulator. I feel like I have a much better understanding of Albert Park and its history than I did before. New to F1 racing and came across your channel. It is very well done and feel like I'm getting a better grasp of the sport. Do you know of any over-view like a drone fly over of the race track? The street level sim is sweet. I just wanted to see the lay of the land with the track. I got more invested in Chicago and Vegas last year, because I've been there so I knew where stuff was, but I'd like to get that same sense around the world.

Interesting perspective and I like the track laps. What times are you getting? How does your sim compare to actual lap times? I would suggest that you use more voice inflection and get a bit more animated and show more range with your voice. So, I'm a fan and enjoyed the laps around the Australian F1 Circuit. THanks!!

Hey, great video! I’m living down under in Adelaide, loved the GP when it was here, last race of the season and teams relaxed after the race, many fun times! Keep these up before each F1, I get on the SIM and rerun the track before each race so I’m 100% with rheumatologist track. Better to watch then. Cheers

lol also from adelaide and just started doing that this week.. it's first time trying to seriously play a racing game and first time driving f1 in games. got the logitech g25 feels pretty awkward so i really need to see if better gear helps or if it's a skill issue. best i can do on the melb track is 1:22 in quali. its addicting af just doing timed laps but yeah really wanna see how a proper sim setup feels on this game.

Great to hear from another sim racer in Adelaide. Yes the Melbourne circuit is great and challenging given it’s so fast then you forget a few tight turns! Seems that was happening in practice today! I started with Logitech 3 years ago I reckon and happy I upgraded to direct drive, AMAZING difference. So many options these days, but some responsible prices for quality gear. But nothing beats a good frame, seat to be coupled with the direct drive and decent pedals. The passion is addicting and can add up quick lol😂 enjoy the race Sunday, go DR & OP

Nice video! It's called "Grand Chelem" when you conquer'em all in the weekend. I love the section T8 thru T10 and even T1,T2 thru T3. Although it's a semi permanent circuit its so flowing for great racing.

Villeneuve crash was also huge in 2001.

Adelaide had it for 11 years. 1985 to 1995. Melbourne started in 96. Adelaide was the last race of the season for the entire 11 years, which unfortunately meant the world drivers championship was often already decided before the GP in Adelaide, it was always held in November. Melbourne has been the 1st, but of course not always the first round, however, it was the first round during its first season, so Adelaide was the final round of 95, and they moved to Melbourne for round 1 of 96. Adelaide hosted the 500th GP of the modern era of F1 in 1990. Albert Park was also the location of a previous incarnation of the Australian GP, but at the time it was a non championship round, effectively a demonstration race. The majority of drivers and teams didn't attend at that time because it didn't count for points in the championship. I have some pictures of that older race, with images of people like Nigel Mansell alongside Peter Brock.

Yeah. But the car's simulator isn't 100% equal to the car's real life because we blame any thin TV/monitor non-strobe/weak strobe for the motion blur issue. But for solve this issue, try to change the display from thin TV/monitor non-strobe to VR headset or to any CRT monitor-computer (not CRT TV due to the bad focus) because we see easier the 3 screens - 300... 200... 100... (or 200... 150... 100...) very fastly moving until press the break pedal. 🙂😊
