Just look at those crowds back then.. it is now May 2020 and in the middle of COVID19 lockdown in Australia 🇦🇺 ( great time to watch whole episodes of Idol and the voice) and it will be a long time if ever we will see this live type of show again I think. I remember the excitement leading up to that final night. Two great finalists, vastly different but both very talented. I was drawn to Shannon’s reserved and humble manner but captivated by Guy’s incredible voice as are my grandchildren today. Thanks for uploading.

The hatred here is really sad. there are many votes that I had wished were different. I'm sure if Stan Walker, Anthony Callea, Paulini etc won over Shannon they would receive the same treatment. Time has shown though that you don't have to win these Shows to be successful. Whether you're placed eighth or third - talent (with an element of fortune) helps turn you into an acclaimed performer. One Direction came third in X-Factor. I don't hear their fans hating the other contestants.
