It’s 2023 , nearly 1 month away from 2024 and I don’t know what always brings me back to watch marathons of Steve , I think it’s a childhood thing , Steve was a comfort , he was kind and enthusiastic, he made you feel like you could be a great person ! I still cry when I watch things and think what he could have done in this world but looking at Robert and Bindy he definitely passed all that on along with Terri , they are amazing children following on with his legacy… I’ll forever love Steve Irwin ♥️

@Reiner Braunhave you heard of privacy..yes, he shared all aspects of his life but this was private watching his death isnt any of your business or the publics....I thought it was something personal and only should be shared with his family if they wanted to watch.. Yeah having his death televised is such a smart idea....so his children won't ever forget that day.. watching their father die would in no way hurt them... especially after news media..other networks.. like the internet got a hold of that tape.. Did you know after his death there was a huge rise in killing sting Ray's...that's the last thing Steve would of wanted..he would NEVER want anyone to hurt or kill animals in his honor... that's the last thing he would ever want.. he was all about saving them...and wildlife conservation warriors.. Yes, he was very public about every aspect of his life however his last final video wasn't up to him .
@stephaniewright3404 жыл бұрын
@Reiner Braun I also forgot to add..."a child star" do the adult kids look messed up to you..back it the early 1900's-1950's kids were working to support families...heard of the depression..in this case no they didn't need to "work" if that's what you call it...they had the best childhood ever..who do you know grew up in a zoo...instead of waking up to cars..buses..street noise..they woke up to elephants sounds...roaring tigers...Crocs hissing.birds flapping around...yep there childhood was definitely by video cameras..what you seem to forget..they didn't know anything different...they grew up this way..it was normal for them ..and when do you call fun work... another of fact...Terry said at anytime Bindi or Robert didn't want cameras..or didn't want to film...it was fine..and after Steve's death they did stop for awhile..but the kids missed the crew..and missed what they were doing...to them it wasn't work.. more educational than anything..I don't know one single person out of my childhood friends got to learn about Tv production..using mics... editing..sound booth...while exploring on different locations..oh Africa this week...America next...Asia in a month... Germany... After that... Not only did they learn about different species and the rarest mammals but they got to explore..teach...study.. they got to see how global warming was effecting the animals...now they can help to do something about it...it's amazing what happens when you REALLY teach kids ... how education inspires them to take action not just dream about it.... Child worker...that was a very small part of their childhood....they never really worked..what's work when your passionate about what you do...SMH!!

Reiner Braun sure I’m not crazy about that fact that Bindi was working when she was so young but that doesn’t change the fact that her father meant so much to a lot of people most of those being kids. I just think it’s a shame when someone dies tragically and leaves behind a family
@teresamay35013 жыл бұрын
My daughter was 15 when he passed away and she cried her heart out when I had to tell her. She graduated with honors from the university in 2013 and spent 2 years working for practically nothing at our local animal shelter. Steve Irwin was her inspiration. Of course she eventually had to get a job that would support her financially but you really have to admire a man who could inspire a young person to give up two years of their life to help animals in need. Now, she’s the kind of person who will pull her car over to help a turtle cross the road. Steve impacted a lot of lives and his death was truly a tragedy.

True, plus he had already had to bury his wife in very tragic circumstances. The zoo is Lynne, Bob and Steve and his sister's. I just see it as an Americanized money making version now. We cant know exactly what's between Bob and Terri but Steve used show business to further the conservation cause and funding. Terri seems to use the zoo and Steve's memory to promote the kids and her show business career. The zoo and wildlife hospital have lost educated and experienced original staff. While Steve wouldn't settle for second best on his team, the management at Australia Zoo the veterinary hospital or any other project but they sure do now over there. The kids seem sweet and lovely and now they are older can hopefully establish a relationship on their own. We can hope. www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/australia-zoo-crisis-humans-and-animals-both-mistreated-say-exstaff/news-story/800814c563974eb359c4aacd4bcd3682

The biggest mistake Bob made was handing the zoo over to Steve & Terri after their wedding. He should have kept ownership until after his death, but he was too generous and had no idea this would all happen. I feel so bad he got turfed out and has no relationship with his grandkids that would've helped heal his heart. Bob was Steve's absolute hero. He even named his son after him, of course after Steve's death it suddenly was changed to Robert. In all the vids with Steve he called him 'Baby Bob'.

Steve Irwin was my hero growing up and in some ways still very much is, growing up being disabled as a child made it very tough to do the extreme but Steve showed me the little things in life and how important it was to conserve even the smallest of critters, i didn't need to be head jumping crocs or anything but just to acknowledge we live among a multitude of wildlife and how vital they are to our planet, protecting us from them and vice versa was more important then anything, I might not be out and about doing things for our environment and wildlife but the inspiration he's always been giving me has helped me learn so much and while I cant always do the physical I can pass along my knowledge to educate others like he did for me, he was a fool but that was the whole point, it got us watching and listening

As also a fellow nature enthusiast (tho nobody can beat the og Steve Irwin) it's never what he would've wanted. He left a legacy and got people to thinking about the welfare of animals besides the cute, fuzzy, cuddly ones. The snakes, gators, turtles and the like, that before then nobody batted an eye if a gator had to be out down, clearing a swamp or whatever. Life happens, but legacies live on. I used to kill diamond back rattlesnakes that I saw on the trail of fear of someone getting bit. Now I relocate them all because of Steve's inspiration

There’ll never be anyone like Steve again, his dad, wife and kids do come close, but listening to Steve was just mesmerising, he just grabbed your attention if you wanted too or not. An amazing man has gone, but his memory will stay on forever. R.I.P. mate

That reunion must been very emotional for everyone, is explainable why Steve famally and the rest of the zoo workers couldn't be in this reunion it was probably tough for them. this group and the rest had learn so much from Steve and still strong about the conservation of animals, Steve left a legacy behind him to his past and present crew and his family as well.

Steve Irwin was family to all of us who watched him. He was so extremely magnificent and magnetic. Its honestly completely unexplainable! I'm grateful that we have Chandlers wild life and dingo. There are so many more but those 2 have Steve's magnetism and knowledge...that unexplainable energy. My kids even love Steve. He's the most beautiful legend of all. We love learning from him and his family even today.

Terri is an innocent in this. She lost her soul mate, thats an awful large wound..she loves animals too and her children and the zoo, she would never do anything to disrespect steve or her children
There isn't much priority on conservation at Australia Zoo but more on show business. His influence and that of Steve's mom's spirit, upbringing and friendship taught Steve to have the priorities and knowledge that he had and they created the zoo as their lives work. This man who was with Steve on the day he died explained how his low opinion of Steve as a serious naturalist and conservationist was changed after a conversation with Steve as he explained his strategy of how he used show business and his image as a means to promote conservation . Terri and her almost completely void of original senior staff at the zoo and vet hospital use that to make money and as a means to further show business careers. See above article I posted on problems in management. By comparison those who Steve trusted and worked with are quietly continuing their work in conservation with the same idealism.

Roze Bronson disgusting way to portray your opinion. Less is always more. Perhaps if you said your bit with some eloquence I’d look further into what you’re saying.

Remember that when Terri met Steve, he was the owner of a tiny reptile park and nothing was videotaped or on TV. Steve was an unknown person with a small zoo. Terri loved him and gave up her life and wildlife persuits here, to move to a different country, with animals she wasn't familiar with! I wish people would stop putting her down. Neither she nor Steve were TV "Personalities" at the time! She never pushed him into anything; he loved what he was doing!

When I heard the news, I hung to watch the news to hear he pulled through. I was guttered that he didn't. His energy & positivity was magic and I am glad the world had him, sadly for too short of a time. Love him to bits.

I just saw the interview with Justin, Steve's camera man and he didn't say anything wrong or false he just told the truth about what happened. Bob is being very unfair with Justin at least he cleared up all the false statements that were being told about what happened something he or no one else dared to do..🙏RIP Steve
