I feel hungry now! The food looked absolutely mouth-watering. And to be honest, I would not have been able to decide which of the two glasses is better. This time was the first time that I watched your video using headphones and I noticed something new that before I had not paid any attention to: I really like the music you use for your videos. It is so smooth that it completely blends in and gives you a good feeling; yet you would not notice the music, unless you speciffically focused on it, you just "feel" it instead, ... very clever. I am not a Gummibär-man myself, but what a geeat idea starting the Video off with this: immediately you will have the audience on your side, .... again very clever. I am much impressed.

Thanks so much! Editor Camille here, this is the first time someone has commented on the this aspect of the music! I spend a lot of time choosing what tracks to use, and I try to level them so that 'you don't hear the music, but your brain does'. I don't like travel vlogs where the music is overly present, and I also think vlogs feel awkward when there is very little music. :D

Sigh! I’ve been home in the States for only 2 weeks and am already planning next year’s trip! The Kaisertal looks amazing, and the fact that it’s near Munich by train makes it incredibly appealing. There are lots of rocky peaks in the area that I want to see in person-after reading about them for many, many years.

Isn't Gösser originally from Graz, the province of Steiermark? Their famous Radler is being sold at my local EDEKA supermarket near Frankfurt/GER. I'm loving it - Gösser simply reminds of summer vacation in Austria
@fingi111 күн бұрын
Gösser beer is brewed in 'Göss' near 'Leoben', which is in Upper Styria. The Styrian capital Graz is more known for Puntigamer, but I believe part of the bottling happens here. Cheers :)
@NearFromHome11 күн бұрын
I actually have no idea, but you can find their Radler somewhat consistently in Bavaria and the parts of Austria we visit.

Thanks!

I'm getting hungry while watching that video 😁. I don't remember all of your food videos, but did you ever try Austrian Gulasch with Spätzle? I was in Austria yesterday in the Bodensee region and had a Biergulasch in the village of Dornbirn. It was absolutely delicious. (Scrolling again through the video: there are some shots of meat in Sauce with rice...)
@NearFromHome12 күн бұрын
we have not, but that sounds good! I think the the meat and rice dish was a curry, but I can't remember, which is why I didn't say anything about it lol.

Hi.

The reason for not getting Topfenstrudel in Germany is ... because there is no Topfen in Germany. They have a similar product called Quark. The more you are in the region the more you will notice that especially food and ingredient related items often need a translation between Austria and Germany. (my favorite still is "Topengolatsche" - i only learned a few years ago that this is called "Quarktasche" in Germany)
