Austrian Kaiserschmarrn: original recipe

What we can learn from this video is a proven and simple procedure which is used amongst most Austrian restaurants. Just the video doesn’t show one important step, which is documented in her blog: Must put the lid on the pan again after first turning for some minutes - before cutting it. Usually this takes 3-5 minutes and you lid will almost come up ;-)

Maria does it by improvisation. It should be a smooth dough like in the video - not too liquid and not too solid. 😊 Enjoy it! ❤️

Kaiserschmarrn als Tirolerische Besonderheit darzustellen ist schon sehr frech, wenn der genaue Ursprung völlig ungeklärt ist.

Das Rezept zum Kaiserschmarrn wurde nach Tiroler Art zubereitet. 🙂 Natürlich gibt es auch andere Rezepte aus anderen Regionen und Ländern, die sicher auch sehr lecker sind. 😍
