🚁 Autel EVO 2 Pro Explorer App Walkthrough EXP Setup & 10 Bit Camera Settings 🚁

Anyone new to Autel or simply wanting to know a bit more about what others are doing with their Autel drones in the Autel Explorer app this is for you. Talking about all my settings and more! EXP settings, gimbal speed settings, camera setting for 10 bit color pretty much combing through the entire app and interface. Hope this helps!

I was going to purchase the Lite + just because it has the 1" sensor versa the 1/2 of the Lite, but the Lite has one more program mode than the Lite+ in w/ following my subject, etc. And the adj. aperture is important.

Thanks for doing this👍. Yes, H.265 for 10-bit video. Also, for me, 24fps looks too jerky with movements of the subject or the camera unless the movements are exceptionally slow. 30fps is much better. For rapid movements, I use 60fps.

Did you find that you had to dial down or reduce the sharpness? I film over water and get glare and jello sometimes. Another reviewer said reducing sharpness by 20% can help. Is that adjustable?

Hi,dont know if you came across this issue or could possibly help me understand why this issue might occur. So i recently got the evo 2 pro v3 and have been testing it out; but i noticed that most of my photos i took are missing if i took 10 photos like only 1 is on my sd card. I did some troubleshooting and discovered that when HDR is on the photos wont save to the sd card but when i turn it off the photos save.

Hmmm sounds not the norm. I would call Autel Support and see what they say honestly.

I really appreciate your detailed video. I've heard that unlike the V2 version people are having trouble accessing 10 bit color in A-Log with the EVO 2 Pro V3. Some are even saying that the V3 version doesn't even have that ability. Can you confirm or debunk this?

I have the V3 smart controller and when I go to the Settings you are pointing out like: Precision flight , Dual stability etc. I dont have these features listed. I checked and updated all the firmware and associated apps and styill nothing trying to figure out why io don't hsve this. Unless it is listed elsewhere

Hmmmm. Maybe you have a beginner mode or something enabled locking those out? I’m not sure without seeing what you’re seeing. Calling Autel support may be an option although they pretty useless honestly.

@AtortAerials Never got an answer to that. On another note I'm sick I crashed my Drone last night. Really stupid of me. Now I gotta send it back to be replaced. Just should've known better. My years of driving a semi taught me a cardinal rule: When going in reverse If you think your going to hit something then you probably will. STOP GET OUT AND LOOK. (GOAL). Really don't know why I didn't stop. Smh. Expensive lesson learned. Lesson to other newbies. When obstacle avoidance is telling you you are near something respect the warning. It's like your mirrors in your car. Objects are definitely closer than they appear (from the ground).

Can you set the precision flight parameters differently for different flight modes, for example 60% for standard mode and 15% for precision mode?

Hmmm I have to check. I think you can set in any mode however you wish.

@@AtortAerials Thanks for your reply. It would sure be nice if you could just like with DJI Mini 3 Pro. I look forward to hearing what you find out. I'm strongly considering the EVO 2 Pro V3 for an upgrade for my DJI Air 2 and Mini 3 Pro drones. My first experience with Autel drones was when I got my X Star Premium and I was happy with it 5 or 6 years ago, so I expect I would be just as pleased with the EVO 2 Pro. Thanks again, Eric

@@thriftysurvivor6117 EVO 2 Pro for sure is a good drone. My obit issues I had were disconnects when using y iPhone and the standard remote which was frustrating. If you use their smart controller should be perfect.

@@AtortAerials Thanks for getting back with me. Looking forward to receiving the EVO 2 Pro once I order it. I'm currently trying to sell my Mini 3 Pro so I can order the Autel EVO 2 Pro sooner. If you know anyone looking for a great sub 250 gram drone feel free to let me know. It's the fly more combo Pus with the DJI RC ( the one with a built in screen) and two additional Pus batteries. I also have 2 extra Plus batteries for a total of 1 standard battery and 4 Plus batteries for a total of 5 batteries. I also have a hard waterproof case, ND filters and more to go with it. I hope you don't mind me mentioning this, but I just can't wait to get my hands on an Autel EVO 2 Pro. Thanks again, Ereic

Hello, I just got my Evo 2 V3 Fly more bundle a week ago and was wondering if you go out of town to Puerto Rico or somewhere else. Do you have to to redo compare on the drone? In in the state!

@Atort Aerials I meant compass etc. Auto correct took over lol. On that note puerto rico is beautiful can't wait to go in June, and on flying the drone weather has been bad here last couple days!!

@@rider4life763 I would just do a compass calibration before any important flight or once u fly after travel or if it prompts you. IMU can be good to do if important flight or job for example or if traveling with the drone and it may be getting moved around a lot.
