I see there are now some videos out on testing this drone. I like my Mavic but look forward to the Mavic II. I would think DJI will release soon to compete with the EVO. Thanks for sharing.

We won't know until it's releases to the public but I just wish they had protected the camera and gimble better like the mavic air features.

Excellent presentation mate-Thanks for the info. Autel are well known for their auto electrical diagnosis machines-so I guess they know a great deal about electrical components-The Evo certainly looks the part and the camera specs have got my attention. I was looking at a Mavic Air-but might hang fire for a while and see what develops. Mavic Pro 2 might be the next step up> Cheers. Thumbs up.

Yeah I'd recommend waiting. I think the Mavic Air is amazing, but I also think something more amazing will be out prior to the end of the year..whether DJI or Autel.

What I care about is sensors on the top so that way the drone doesn't smash into a ceiling. Don't the newer DJI aircrafts have back, bottom, sides and top sensors?
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
Most DJI aircraft have forward/back/bottom. The phantom 4 pro has the sides in addition but they're only operable in certain flight modes. The only DJI drones I know of that have top sensors are the inspire series which are the mega-expensive professional rigs.

Husky-Flies Ahhhh I see. Well I'm glad I waited until now to jump into the drone hype when there's featured built into them to allow me to protect my 1k investment.

The EVO looks nice and has great features BUT have you gone to Autel website recently? You cant buy anything. The flagship drone XStar Premium says it is out of stock!! It sounds to me the company is stopping production of everything. Not sure they will survive, its a shame because i really would like to get an EVO....

And this will be Autel's downfall in my opinion. If they can't get this out before the Mavic 2 they will be hosed.. It is probably already too late! Extremely disappointed myself.

Interesting, any idea or hint in when it is supposed to release? Also, any notion on what kind of color profiles / video settings we can expect to see? Personally, I will be glad to rid myself of my Mavic, on the sole fact that who the hell knows why they decided to put a tap to focus camera on that drone... thanks for the vid
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
As far as I know no release date yet. As for color profiles/video settings I'd imagine someone with more experience in the Autel Software would know, as I think that will be relatively similar to the X-Star Premium. Thanks for taking the time out to watch, too! :)

DJI Mavic Air is a Toy or as I call it POS, if you want a DJI wait for Mavic pro 2
@419tommy6 жыл бұрын
wow,i like it,i hope it doesn’t end up like the karma did after DJI releases their models
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
You and me both honestly. I am sure DJI will have some impressive stuff to roll out very soon, but I am hoping this gives them at least a LITTLE competition. This community has been hurting for it for a long time now.

The one question I've been trying to get out of Autel is: Can you use other than a Cell Phone, like a iPAD Mini?Anyone know?
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
I honestly expect you will be able to use ANYTHING for this drone. Maybe not right out of the box, but even the Mavic Controller can hold large tablets if you purchase one of the inexpensive tab holders or extenders. So while I don't know the answer to this, I imagine if it can't use this sort of hardware; it would be an easy/cheap fix.
@jst27686 жыл бұрын
Thanks, while this is not a deal breaker for me. I just enjoy a larger video display than a Cell Phone. I like the Autel Products and look forward to seeing what kind of package Autel will offer!
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
You and me both! Definitely looks like an exciting release. And I agree. Being able to use a tablet is extremely nice although I'll admit on my Mavic if I am just cruising a familiar area I have plenty of video of I usually just slap a phone in since it's easier. In any case thanks for watching and safe flying. o7

Old Vid. Autel Dropped the ball on many aspects of a Drone Manufacturing company. They could make good hardware, But Never got the apps to be worthy of anything.

By the time they get it out it will be to late DJI will have the market.
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
Very likely which is a damn shame. Even if the standard comes out the Mavic is already competing, and if the 1 Inch ever releases we might have the Mavic 2

It looks like a Lot of "Wait and see's " with this! I'm very disappointed that they Scratched the drone they had at the show last year!

It very much is.

Just bought a mavic and cant update because of the DJI big brother factor. If they leave off all the locks then this will kill dji. I am a believer in personal responsibility.
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
Mind offering more detail, just for my own curiosity? I have yet to actually run into an issue with the NFZ or anything similar involving DJI locking my quad down, but I'd definitely like to know what others have experienced.
@2limbo6 жыл бұрын
I so much agree with you. I personally fly a Mavic Pro but lets be honest ..... I don't "own" my Mavic, DJI does! If they want to shut down my drone or force some firmware upon me, they can or else my drone will not fly. But till now there was no other brand available with these kind of specs. Now the EVO does and I do hope they will not do the same as DJI does and leave the responsability at the drone pilot. DJI again suprised everybody with the new Mavic-Air and I am afraid the great interest in the EVO will become smaller unless Autel puts out more info and preferably put some authentic EVO footage online so people can see themselves the quality they are looking for and will wait till the EVO is finally released. I would !!
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
I would absolutely LOVE some competition..but the Mavic Air is certainly stealing the show.. Come on Autel!!
