I feel like a lot of this might be outdated with how old my videos are but I am happy if they can help you in anyway and thanks for watching. :)

Thanks for more great videos. I recently purchased Litchi and have had 4 or 5 flights getting a feel for things but maybe you can help with my setup. where/how to configure it so that I'm recording with a shutter speed that is twice the frame rate. Not even sure where to select shutter speed?
@Sanuske47 жыл бұрын
You need to hold down the exposure adjustment knob (top right shoulder knob) until it flips over to manual camera control. Then you can tap that knob to swap between controlling ISO and Shutter Speed. That's how you manually control the camera settings. Double shutter speed to FPS is ideal, but not always possible. Thanks for watching.

Does it support PORTRAIT mode for mavic pro, can't seem to find it anywhere
@tyronewilliams15025 жыл бұрын
I know this was made a while ago, but regarding the DJI Phantom 3 Standard, the manual/auto setting for the camera is reached by tapping on the information line showing ISO, shutter Speed etc. at the top. This then brings up a panel to the left of the shutter button and photo/video button, which can be closed when adjustments are made. You can also show a histogram, which gives a visual indication of the exposure in real time. Hope this helps, and thanks for taking the time to put up such concise tutorials!

Ive enjoyed all of your videos on litchi. i am unable to to figure out how to review any pictures or videos taken using the litchi app without removing SD card. (dji has a button) Any suggestions

Depending on your model of aircraft it might be likely this function is only available within DJI Go. :( Sorry for the late reply.

Thanks very much. Very shinny. Struggled for days with the DJI thing. Litchi and your vid got me from zero to go in no time.

Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to watch. Glad I could help. The new DJI GO 4 is incredibly fickle and often times prefer Litchi.

Hello new subscriber here, I know this is old , so have you thought about doing an updated video on litchi? I’m curios about the NFZ s, will litchi prevent you from taking off in NFZ like the dji4 app does? I have litchi. I just haven’t flown with it yet. I have mavic pro.
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
I have definitely considered this since from everything I have heard is that Litchi has changed a lot. I haven't used it as much since getting an iOS device since it was primarily a stop gap for my DJI Go app crashing on Android and I don't often need to program waypoints but maybe I'll have to take another look. Either way thanks for the watch and sub. :)

For Phantom 3 Standard, you can tap on the camera settings info bar to change to manual.

Since DJI GO is getting worse, the Litchi App is a very nice alternative and your videos a huge help. Thank you for your effort!

I actually experienced this recently when purchasing a Mavic a few months ago. This new DJI GO 4 is pretty awful. And I don't generally even have crashes or that many issues. But one thing I have discovered.. I am getting worse reception with the more recent versions, confirmed on Airdata UAV. I downgraded to an earlier version and reception solved. It never caused an issue and the Mavic flew fine. But I was getting many, many more major signal errors when using the most recent version. Litchi remained in the green with minor signal errors, and older versions of Dji Go 4 did the same. Very disturbing. Thanks for watching though!
@nikomeier7 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for getting in touch. How did you make the downgrade to an older version of Litchi? I am using Android 4.4.2 (probably a reason for the DJI Go issues).
@Sanuske47 жыл бұрын
I am uncertain about Litchi. I never had an issue with the latest version. As for DJI Go I use ApkPure (google it). Thanks for taking the time to watch. :)

how do u view your footage after recording using the litchi app? lost connection, thought it would still record while still doing the mission?!!!
@Sanuske48 жыл бұрын
It should have recorded if you told it to. I have had difficulties getting the playback button on the remote to work as well, if that is what you mean.
@OLCtv8 жыл бұрын
Husky-Flies there is no playback button on the Phantom 3. Maybe it was a malfunction or something, I'll try again tomorrow.
@Sanuske47 жыл бұрын
OLCtv The playback button is located on the upper right (when looking at it from the front) shoulder of the transmitter on the P34k, P3A, and P3P. I don't think the Standard has one though. Let me know what happens!
@OLCtv7 жыл бұрын
Husky-Flies the videos can't be played back from the litchi app like they can with the dji app. I thought the video didn't but it all recorded but you have to take the sd card out of the camera to view it on a cpu or another device.
@Sanuske47 жыл бұрын
OLCtv Yeah it would appear so. I guess that is only to be used within DJI Go.

First I what to thank you for for another fantastic tutorial, you make it EZ. But I have a question, if I switch between Litchi and GO4 apps will my camera settings stay the same or do I have to reset for each app. Cause I like the Litchi for mission planning and the GO4 for everything else. To tell you the truth I have thinking just to keep the Litchi?

Video very informative, but lack details, you could go over the parts like Saturation or Capture Mode, with maybe an example. Overall like it.

In automatic camera maode, does Litchi allow you to tap an area on the screen, resulting in exposure adjustment for that area? It appears you can do that in the DJI App and it would be great if the same applies in Litchi. THANKS for the video!

Very helpful video, thanks. You didn't mention anything about changing EV. I don't want manual but would like to adjust EV like I can in DJI GO.

How do I control the camera settings for the STANDARD model?
@9galletti7 жыл бұрын
Hi , Thank you for your work , it is very good and helpfull. Is there an option for video preview quality on android? I have a green flickering picture sometimes...
@smarzyciel6 жыл бұрын
Great tutorial for those who have been left without app to fly our DJI drones (Android tribe). One thing I would like to adjust is my gimbal yaw movement speed. I know this is option on DJI but I don't seem to find it on Litchi. I am new and my movements are jerky and I want to slow them down. Is it possible at Litchi???
@tyronewilliams15025 жыл бұрын
I think you set them in DJI Go, then close and also force close the app. When you start Litchi, the settings are carried across. I also set my EXP on the sticks to 0.2 and have adjusted the controller sticks (by unscrewing the bottom locknut and then adjusting the top) to a longer length, which makes it somewhat smoother for video...

Do u know how to access the camera controls with a dji phantom 3 standard controller?
@Sanuske48 жыл бұрын
I am sorry but I do not. I really wish I did!
@Cabronosidad8 жыл бұрын
I think you have to do it through the app. No way to access it through the controller.

what would be the light blue point?
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
As far as memory serves the light blue dot indicates GPS has not locked in the smart device position.
@ServicePCWeb6 жыл бұрын
ups..then I do not know how it works, but since I have the litchi app. I can not make it work well, the smart modes do not work well, I will have to resolve to get back the money I paid for it, because it is a disaster how this app works. Thank you.
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
Are you by chance using a tablet for this? It's a semi-common problem people are attempting to use tables and smart devices that do NOT have GPS built into them which is required for all the functionality of the app to work correctly.
@ServicePCWeb6 жыл бұрын
I use a Samsung S8 Plus that is a very good mobile, and it has GPS perfectly, but the app is very bad.
@Sanuske46 жыл бұрын
Well I don't know what to tell you. It has always worked great for me but the S8 definitely has GPS so I'm uncertain what the issue would be. Anyways sorry I couldn't be of more help.
