Autel Evo Lite Plus - Wind Stability Test - W/ Flight Footage

I pushed the limits almost too far this time!
This is a real wind stability test not the leaf blower trick! The Autel Evo Lite Plus was put to the test in this not so smart extreme wind stability test and was much more stable than I thought it would be. It was Ludicrous and ludicrous mode worked well!
This was not a drone footage quality review but I think it did very well in that area too. All camera setting were set to auto so there is a little exposure flicker and other things your would expect in auto without a filter or anything.

@@divingfalconfpv4602 it’s always under but pretty consistent. I never had issues with Autel or DJI flight times. They are always lower but never out of my expectations.

Recently (December 2022) purchased Lite + and its good to see your tests of the wind speeds. I have flown my Phantom 4, in 42 mph and its encouraging to see what the Lite + can do. I dont plan to fly in such strong winds, but if I need to get something done and its windy, we got it! Thanks!

Wow, pretty amazing video. I think thank you so much for supplying this footage I own the same drone I live out here in Hawaii. We have our tradewinds that can make things a little more challenging for my DJI but I rarely get wind warnings on the Autel but I haven’t flown in wins like what you just did once again thank you so much she look rocksolid

Very interesting test your wind and wind gust was much much higher than mine when I first got it and tried to fly it and let me tell you it was a little bit of a pucker up moment cause the wind start dragging it away had to flip it into Ludacris mode to bring it back and set it down quick.....been having heavy wind gust of about 30 mph everyday so havent flown since but your day is like 100x worst and she looks so solid. I guess I really need to recalibrate it.

@@QCGUY well I followed your calibration videos and took it out today wasn't a windy day by any means but the attitude of the drone was 100% different idk why they say in the manual calibration is not necessary unless change remotes or something like that I can't recall exactly but definitely definitely worth spending the 5-10 mins to Calibrate everything cause it looks rock solid now .... I'll bring it up in another slightly windy day to confirm it's fixed in position now but probably not as serious as the one in your video 😂

Lite + was looking solid. I didn't see any jello anywhere. I did see a little snow on the ground, must be cold. In the 70's here, but always windy in the spring in . N.C. Unless I am at work, then it,'s perfect.

Why do I see most videos say that the Lite plus fails in strong winds

All the Evo's take a hit in the wind and slow down but to some this may be too much. My main beef with speed was in the Nano simply not having anything worthy of calling sport mode till now. DJI drones will decrease like most every drone out there but they compensate better than Autel drones and don't stall like these do.

Actually I think Autel incases theres in a clear hard rubber on these new models. I’ve not had a single barometer issue I can n recall on this or the Nano.

It’s one specifically made for the tripletek. It screws in to the tablet.

I think you have to ignore that in windy conditions I would never normally fly in. On a calm day when I publish a flight video looking for that problem sure but I have only spotted a slight tilt a few times with this quad so far.

Hi Chris. I'm expecting this drone in the mail any day now. I flew the Xstar Premium using a tablet because the controller was built for it. I do not understand why controllers now are so dinky and can only use cell phones. Anyhow, could I please know what you are using for a display? And how did you attach it? I would like to purchase one that I know will work. I hate guessing and wondering. Thanx

I’m using the Tripletek 8 Pro. It’s an investment but you simply can’t beat it and it’s super bright so no worries in the sun. It’s the best thing I’ve purchased for my drones.

Hi there , iam trying to msg every reviewer to see if i can find the answer as to how to get rid of the data lines from every recording of sd card ..!!! There is nothing in camera settings to remove them from every recording .. I want to be able to play recording straight from sd card to 4 k tv but data writting is on all of them ..frustrating
